Is it me, or are these True ads really . . . "enticing"? Anyway, the limit for friends here is pretty high, but I'm at ZERO FRIENDS. You don't have to worry about raising that "friends limit" on my account.

Their may be a bug where you can have more friends by sending multiple requests before you reach your limit, or deciding later for a few requests and then accepting them all at once.
When I ran out of friends to add, it said that I could send a note to one of the admins if I wanted to add more. So, that might be what they have done.
Yes, it would be quite nice to have more than 250. I remember someone sent me an invitation for being their friend, but they already had 250, so I couldn't become their friend.
who needs more friends than 250? Friend 'collecting' is a waste of server space on this site that can better be used to store more movie/actor information.
I would like more than 250 friends please. I am finding more and more serious users who have similar taste to mine, and there's not many more users on my list that seem to have mistaken Flixster for an online dating service to weed out.
