NOTE THAT VERY FEW OF THE SKINS ON THE SITE ARE MADE BY FLIXSTER - MOST ARE MADE BY USERS LIKE YOU. SO THIS IS A PLACE TO DISCUSS WHAT YOU ARE MAKING OR WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO MAKE.
Questions among artists for each other about skins or tips and ideas for making skins are also fair game for this thread - hopefully this can be a central place to discuss all the cool new skins being added.

Yeah, I think I may try to throw a couple skins together and see how it goes. I like plain plain plain. I don't want movie characters and icons etc cluttering up my page.
Just keeping it how it is but maybe with some different colors and gradients.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for them to be uploaded too. I'll be starting your Gai-Jin one soon. Just to clarify - you wanted a black and white styled theme, fairly basic, and you want the hat picture incorporated. Right?
(just a warning that black and white color themes are really hard to do well because you are only allowed to set one color for an entire block of text... so if you set it to black, it won't show up over the black, and if yu set it to white... well you know.)
Anyways, I just had dinner and I'm on the 'good' computer now, so I'll start on Mohads simple theme (i'll probably make it nature-ish, maybe clouds and some flowers or something, nothing fancy or anything though.) And after I'll do the Julia Roberts one.
by the way, Kalel if you see this, change all your 'small box' pieces to a width of 260, they wrote the wrong dimensions in the specs, and thats why all the profile_sbox_header.jpg pieces don't line up right... all the 'small box' pices are supposed to have a width of 260px.
I'll do metallicamattys heavy metal skin now. I'm not gonna do the pulp fiction one because I've enver seen the movie... (I know, I know...) so Kalel can do that one (if ya don't mind buddy.)
