Well this isn't a 'problem' per say, but both the 'flixster flixster flixster' forum and this one don't have a link back to the list of forums at the top... its just kind of annoying...
Ive been having problems with the interface itslef - most of the time Flixster loads with errors and buttons such as the "create a new list" don't work
I was wondering when trying to submit a skin, can your images size be smaller than the deminsions listed? Because that's the only way i can see to make 10kb size header, the example pics are even 20+ kbs
And how long does approval take? Will i know if it doesn't get accepted?
Submitting Profile Skins (Tim8806): Thanks for your post. I've updated the specification to allow for 25kb main box and big box headers and footers, and 20kb small box headers and footers.
Approval can take up to a week. While most skins are pretty good, only our favorites will be added into our skin gallery. Good luck!

Thanks Eugene. I was looking at other peoples skins and they don't dit the pixel dimensions given, why are there dimensions if we don't have to follow them, you should just put size maximum if that's the case.
Submitting Profile Skins (Tim8806): The skin's pixel dimensions are intended to be 'guidelines' for artists to follow. You are free to use your own dimensions, although if you submit a skin too small or too large, we will reject it. The file SIZES are not guidelines: we want skins to download quickly, so please adhere to file size requirements.
This is prolly just my computer... and i wouldnt be surprised if it is... but whenever i go into Forums or my Profile... It is showing me what happened days and days ago.
It's really getting annoying that I have to refresh my pages all the time because i have a really slow computer and a realy short attention span.
Sarahmichelle, try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files.
If you use Internet Explorer (IE), you can do this by clicking Tools (at the top), Internet Options, click on the 'General' tab on the window that pops up and now in the middle section that says 'temporary internet files' click on the buttons that say 'Delet Files...' and 'Delete Cookies...'.
If you use Firefox, click Tools (at the top), Options, Click on the tab that says 'cookies' then click the clear cookies now' button, after doing that then click on the 'Cache' tab, and select Clear Cache Now.
This will take a LONG time if you have never done it before! Your computer isn't frozen, it is just deleting months woreth of files!
This will also help clear out alot of hard drive space on your computer : ).
You could also make sure that internet explorer shows you the latest update of a webpage instead of the previous one by going to tools>internet options>settings and making sure that every visit to page is checked.
A few people have been telling me that they can't post comments in my Movie Lists (My Favourite Cult Films seems to be a particular problem). I've been told the message says something along the lines of:

My friend just joined flixster and has taken the MCT...he sat and rated several films and took his time to write reviews. He says he saved them. They are not showing up at all. It says he has zero reviews and ratings. What's wrong?
This is more of a request then a problem, but since it's your area and you are responding quicker than the request forum i'll shoot for it.
It would be nice to be able to search for skins. Like by the name of the movie or an actor, and it would be nice if we could add more than one movie/actor that it relates to.
