My sister owns seasons 1 and 2 on dvd, but I have yet to watch the second season. I just haven't gotten around to it, but otherwise it is a freakin' awesome show!

well, I highly recommend squeezing in a weekend or so & getting thru them.

I did both seasons in 3 days. I've never been so compelled to just keep watching & watching a show like this.

the very few shows that i can actually stand on tv. took me a while to get a hold of season two. too bad it ended, but the ending was decent enough for closure.

SciFi Channel is about to air this one in the States.
Looks pretty good.

It is the best series to poke fun at death. WAIT! Its the only series.
I couldn't stop laughing when I was watching the first episode.
I now own it on dvd and for some unexplained reason i can not find the 2nd series on dvd here in Australia. It is a pain in the ass!!!

I like DLM, but I don't think the second series is as good as the first.

I stumbled across the box set for this show in a sale, so just bought it for the sake of it and happy that I did. Its a real shame it has not caught on that well in the UK because it has a real promise. Thankfully I have been able to catch the section season on reason 1 DVD, enjoyed it too.
Has anyone watched Wonderfalls which I believe is written or directed (not too up on my facts here) by the same person who did Dead Like Me. It doesnt work as well and takes a few episodes to get into, but they have really gotten that disllusioned outlook down and through characters that arent wholey likeable.

Yeah I just started watching it (once it showed up on the SciFi Channel). It's just great but what do you expect from Bryan Fuller!?!

I'm not sure I agree with "Probably the greatest show to ever last 2 seasons or less." It's certainly on the short list but not the top (The Adventures of Brisco County Jr and Firefly would be at the top of my list).

Another great show that lasted 2 seasons or less created by Bryan Fuller is Wonderfalls. If you like DLM you really should check Wonderfalls out. It only had one season and you can get it on DVD for like $20 (US).

I saw wonderfalls & wasnt so sold on it.

But, not everyone will like the same things. For instance, I found one person who somehow doesnt like DLM (I'm convinced hes suffering from some mild retardation or something).

i still cant grasp the fact that this show got cancelled after 2 seasons, i never saw it when it was first on, i dont even know if it was on over here, but a friend told me about it, and now its one of my fave shows ever

I love the harsh sarcasim of this show, it so funny, good stuff... yeah, i love the idea of it too, i mean i just love the whole grim reaper thing, i always wondered how long it could go on, with her all attached to her family still... too bad it only last 2 seasons. id love to own them

I loved this show, it should have stayed running. I thought there were some really good story lines in it.

(Even though I've only ever seen the first season) I think that Dead Like Me ROCKS!!! I think Daisy's really funny! and Mason's cool... lol

lol I know. You should watch the second season its really good. It should have run for longer really.

Yet again another great show cancelled! What is this world coming to? lol. Oh yeah I totally love this show, it has wit, charm, and some great dark comedy. Mandy Patikin or however you spell it, totally rules! Love that guy!

we will all be happy to know that filming for a straight to DVD DLM movie is starting filming next month in Montreal, Canada.

Ellen posted it a few months ago on her message board that she had a big film project she couldnt talk about yet, everyone was curious what it was, about a month or so ago she confirmed the big project was a DLM movie.

I've really got into this. I'm really into dark humour like this.. It's sick, and glorious at the same time.

I really like Dead Like Me,but Firefly I thought was better and it only lasted a season.
