Metal master and horror fanatic Rob Zombie is set to write and direct a new Halloween movie that will give life to Michael Myers yet again.
Zombie will also co-produce and act as the music supervisor of the frightening flick that has a tentative October 2007 release planned. This will be the eighth Halloween film to follow director John Carpenter's 1978 original. Rather than follow the series of sequels that followed, Zombie's version will play out as a "bit of a prequel and remake, combined." It will portray the horrifying killer in a new light by showing Myers before his mental institution escape while chronicling his downward spiral that resulted in him murdering his family on Halloween. "The look and feel is going to be completely different," Zombie said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter.
Hostel: Part II and Grindhouse, are the films that get me excited coming up. Definately, films of the year. As for the Halloween remake, this has just made me hate Rob Zombie even more. The man should have his camera violently inserted in his rectum ^_^ Seriously, he is worse than Uwe Boll!
Oh you know there is good films upcoming!!!
The best and coolest looking is Pans Labyrinth! A fairytale for adults so to speak! Sounds cool doesnt it! Check out the official site or something to see the bloke with eyes on his hands!
Legendary!
Steven Spielberg's "Interstellar", due for release in 2009. Mark it down in your very long calender NOW. It will blow your mind away. Think of it as Spielberg's equivalent to Kubrick's "2001".
seen a clip[ of pans labryinth, looks quite good, worth a watch i think. Not bothered about Fri 13th, didnt like them in the first place. wouldnt mind seeing some of them movies which showed in America, the extreme horror ones, reincarnation looked a good film
