I'm having that same problem. My review won't save and comes up with an error message. I also have the same problem with my review for In Pursuit Of Happyness.
We've been reading this thread and trying to figure it out....
We just found a bug that makes saving a review fail if it has certain foreign characters that our parsing code doesn't like... which explains maybe why babel was having particular problems given all the foreign names.
We should have a fix in a day or two - maybe sooner.
Not sure if this solves all the problems people have had but it should be a chunk of them. Thanks for all your help reporting this - i know how much some of you probably wanted to kill us if we lost a long-written review... sorry about that!
tcchris & all - in many places on the site, including movie detail page, clicking the rating you entered a second time "unselects" it allowing you to remove a rating you don't want.
I had some trouble saving my review for Spiders 2. I initially typed it into Word and then copied and pasted it into the review box and it wouldn't save it. I tried this several times, including restarting Internet Explorer. I then tried just typing in the review character for character and it saved fine. I'd recommend not copying and pasting the review.

Sometimes you may have to wait a couple of hours before your ratings will update.
I'm having a problem yet again with my reviews showing on my profile. Last time after I saved it and went away from the page, when I went back it said I hadn't written a review only this time my review is still there it just isn't showing up on my profile.

Reviews may take a while to show up on your profile because it first must be written to the database, and then from there the database must update your profile. Try checking back in an hour.
I was having major issues from not being able to rate the movies to not being able to see the entire page or change skins, but I began using FIREFOX it works 100% BETTER. I would suggest to all who are having difficulties with your page.. to switch to FIREFOX and see how it works for you. Just A Suggestion.

Is there a way to synchronise votes between Flixter and IMDB? I have voted for hundreds of films on my IMDB account that would take hours to revote for on Flixter. Thus it would be very convenient to be able to save and import my ratings from IMDB (and vice versa). Thanks
