When I review movies, I usually use Notepad, so I can edit and whatever. When I've finished reviewing, and I copy and paste it into Flixster and save it, apostrophes show up as question marks, so I have to go back and edit it again.
Well if you type the movie in the search box and then click on the movie on the left of that profile down the bottom there should be videos of the movie saw you can preview the movie before watching the film.
Does the Movie Rate option not work once you have rated so many movies? Even though I am 1,500 movies off the leaders it still doesn't work
Some movies have been removed from the database and therefore anybody that rated it before it was removed could have more ratings than people that did not rate it.
Any chance of those thumbs up/thumbs down ratings coming back? I enjoyed those, mostly because it would show the most recent reviews for the movie right on the page. (I do know I can click to see all reviews.)
So I've poured through the entire 7 pages of this "forum" and can't find a decent solution to my problem. I'll post here and see if you helpful folks know the answer...
I've rated and written reviews for several films (shy of 100). When I go in to create a list and add these films, the reviews all have many, many, many carriage returns placed into the top of them (and some even have html code), causing the reviews to not display in the small box without scrolling (the box looks empty until you click in it and press your down keey for a while). I can click in the review box and delete all these extra lines, but that's not ideal.
The main reason for my use of Flixster is to utilize the widget that will display a user defined list, and place it on a blog, constantly showing my most recent reviews. But the widget doesn't allow scrolling in the review, so I'm relegated to deleting the extra lines.... very cumbersome, and frustrating.
I'm not copy/pasting the reviews in, like others have posted about. Any clue?
I'm using Camino, which is a Mozilla build, and is Mac OS-native. Very good for Mac users, and I've never run into compatibility problems.
After reading about browser issues, I tried to call up the same reviews with the space issues, in other browsers, and the same is true for FireFox, IE, and Opera.
