Looks like FreakyFriend has the same hunch as me. The safe bet is to say that Dreamgirls will win, but it's losing critical steam, and I feel that the sleeping film 'The Queen' will take the surprise top honours. However, I am still wanting 'The Departed' to win, but I can guarantee that it won't.

I can guarantee that Eastwood won't win. The Academy love him, but it's near impossible these days to win three Oscars in the same category. I also think that the Academy will get absolutely mauled if Scorcese doesn't get the award this year, therefore I'm tipping him to finally take the gold.

Babel will become the crash of 2007 and win the best film.

And i think Scorcese will finally get the oscar that he deserved against eastwood.

I just want The Departed and Clint to win.
Babel if not The Departed.
