I actually disagree. Slipknot are awesome (their old stuff remember), Manson is good every now and then and MCR are awful (now, were pretty okay a year or so ago)
At least Slipknot and Manson tried to do something a bit different, even if it was more about the image than the music...I agree with ineedlockedup, all the identikit-pop-punk-green-day-wannabe bands are far worse!
I may not be a huge fan of either Slipknot or Manson now but I remember the first time I saw either of them live and it was pretty momentous at the time!

i like MCR and marilyn manson but i hate the die hard fans who go to all of their concerts it just annoys me, Slipnot suck i agree, Blink rule kings of punk but sum are naff.
that would be Clash... and I agree with Lerch's list, I don't think MCR are even punk... more like teeny bopper pop-punk kinda stuff. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I just don't like it and it is different from normal punk.
Blink are not the Kings of Punk. Not even modern punk. The kings of Modern Punk are Sum-41 and Rancid, even though Blink are a better band than Sum-41. Sum-41 have been far more influential.
