After a multitude of requests - we've upped the limit on friends from 250 to 500. We may go even higher than that soon.
We've also added a feature that lets you pick and sort your top 30 friends. The top 20 will appear on your profile in the order you picked - and all 30 will be featured around the site whereever we list "recent friend activity".
I know the site can seem slow sometimes for people with tons of friends - that is why we had the cap at 250 until now. We'll be doing even more with this notion of "top friends" over the coming weeks...
I don't think I could ever remember the names and details of 500 friends but the younger generation who have a memory instead of my forgettory will no doubt love you for it!
I've noticed there is a bit too much space allowed in the friends list window now. If you have a look at the friend list on my profile the last name is too long and wraps around looking out of place.
-edit- Although that would be because of the font.
Now that we have this feature it would be helpful to see a page in Top User Charts for those who are in the most peoples top 30 friends. Chances are these are people worth adding as friends.
I think it's a great idea. It kind of got me off guard today when I was able to add someone new. But I love the top 30 and having 500 friends now. Very cool, Flixster rules! :O)
