Nevermind the fact you think White Chicks is "amazing," but I'm sorry, is that supposed to be a sentence?
Blood diamond, Leonardo diacaprio is brilliant playing danny archer an ex mercenary, how is looking for a way out of thw war torn country of sierra leone. Leo makes the audience feel for archer and that is the best way to make a film brilliant
"Passion of Joan of Arc" is devastating, incredible. Karl Dreyer outdid himself here, and Maria Falconetti gave arguably (although not by me) one of the best performances ever captured on film.
Pan's Labrynth for sure, this is my comment on it:
This is one of those films that's so moving, heartbreaking and wonderfully haunting, you sigh when the end credits roll. Using fantasy and horror to explore the darkness of human nature, del Toro gives us a bravura film that is a cautionary gothic fable in every way. Pan's Labyrinth is a dazzle of deep forests, hidden passageways, creepy creatures, a wicked stepparent, cruelty, undying love, dark promises, deadly danger, and grotesqueries galore, blurring the lines beautifully to show that the boundaries between what we see as reality and make-believe don't exist at all. It's dark poetry set to startling images, a one-of-a-kind nightmare that has a soaring, spiritual center transporting its audience into an intoxicating fantasy world generally seen only in dreams.
V for Vendetta - i was beyond obsessive! I just couldn't talk or think about anything else for at least a month - it's still my number one favourite movie, surpassing all my favourite classics that nothing else was supposed to better - i think i like it because it made me think and because i understood what it was trying to tell me
to kill a mockingbird staring gregory peck is one of the most important films made.not only a strong storyline and unmatched actors but a message that all people need to see.i first saw this film as a child and many times since. it never fails to "amaze" me that this film was made when it was.look up real history for when it was made and you'll see what i mean.
