as u all know (well, maybe not all of you) i've already made a similar thread about this. but some of us are experiencing flixster not loading pages as quick as it used to and most times have to click refresh more than once (in my case most times i have to click it 3 times!)
i've mentioned it twice on the help forum and i've noticed quite a few have mentioned it on that forum too...
so do you think if we create a list of the people experiencing this problem it would help flixster realise it needs sorting?
showing the amount of people experiencing this problem, would it make them think something is needed to be done and hopefully act upon it?
a couple people have mentioned it happening after the widgets were added...and i think exactly the same.
i just want it sorted as it's getting really frustrating and sometimes i really can't be bothered logging on here knowing that i'm gunna experience this problem every single time i wanna add a post within the threads...
A/ Your Internet connection might be a little bit too slow, in which case the widgets aren't a great idea after all.
B/ Try using a different browser and see if that helps.
C/ Don't have too many other programs running at the same time.
D/ ..........tell Eugene directly. :S
A,B and C i have tried and yes i have added 2 posts in the misc. problems thread in the help forum...how many times do i need to do it to get the message across?
I've also had problems before on using Flixster that everytime I take a quiz I get a zero eventhough I know for sure that I have correct answers I found out that even if refresh the pc several times the page is still on error but I dunno what happened lately everytime I answer quizzes the page no longer becomes an error....:(:):D
Yes, everything is slow on here for me. Everytime I go to a page I get an advert right through the middle, making me refresh it several times before I get the actual page. The adverts also slow down my home computer and everytime I post a message it take ages to actually post. My computer freezes for a couple of seconds.
It is really bugging me as well and I will probably tell Eugene about it, as he has sorted out problems on flixster for me in the past. What you could do is add Eugene as a friend so you can contact him easily. That's what I've done
