    TROY:

Director Wolfgang Petersen was once quoted in saying that Troy wouldn't use as many special effects as the one for Lord of the Rings. When examined more closely, the critics found that they used almost as much special effects.

    TROY:

Menelaus was the first important character to die in the movie... Actually, in the Iliad, Menelaus never died in war... He keeps Helena...

Achilles dies in the city of Troy in the movie... In the Iliad, Achilles was killed before they even thought of constructing the horse...

    TDK

Heath Ledger improvised when he started clapping inside his jail cell in a mocking and sardonic capacity as Gordon is promoted. The clapping was not scripted but Christopher Nolan immediately encouraged the crew to continue filming and the sequence was included in the film.

These were the guys considered to play Harvey Dent before Aaron Eckhart:

    Matt Damon (turned it down)

Hugh Jackman, Ryan Phillipe, Liev Schriber and Josh Lucas.

(I think Liev could have pulled it off?)

    Kill Bill facts:

Uma Thurman's yellow track-suit is a direct homage to the one worn by Bruce Lee in Game of Death (1978).

Quentin Tarantino has confirmed in interviews that the "Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (DiVAS)" was inspired by "Fox Force Five," the fictional television show that Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) filmed in Pulp Fiction (1994).

The members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad are all named for snakes: Sidewinder, Black Mamba, Cottonmouth, Copperhead, and California Mountain (King) snake. They are also the names of enemies of Captain America.

When The Bride stands over the remains of the Crazy 88s, a masked Quentin Tarantino is among them.

    Body Count: 95.

    Movie stories!

Brian Helgeland, the writer for Tony Scott's MAN ON FIRE first saw the original Man on Fire (1987) when he was renting videos in the 1980's. He walked in to the video store where Quentin Tarantino was working, and asked what was good. Tarantino recommended the original Man on Fire (1987).
