The first movie was so good - it was a new idea, but then they tried to continue a story which they'd already finished. The state of the second movie meant that the third had almost no hope.
The third movie was too confusing and they never explained all of what was going on. The only thing which really made the movie better was the ever brilliant acting by Johnny Depp but even that wasnt enough to make it a 'good' movie.
