I would want to be Elizabeth Bennet. Because she is smart and attractive + scores the guy of her dreams in the end!!!! (and what a gorgeous guy he is!)
(or maybe Emma from Austen's Emma, because she marries mr knightley which wouldnt be so bad either, except maybe for the age difference! ;P)

I think I would be Meredith Gentry or Anita Blake both from author Laurell K. Hamilton. They both get to be with hot guys who are not really human like you and me. Read the series both are great reads.

Hmm...that's a tough one. I have lots:) First is probly Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter because she's -pretty and feisty(XD) and really talented and powerful. She has this sort of...air about her of prestige and grace...lol

Another woule be Arya from the Inheritance Trilogy. First of all, she's an elf, which means she's geaceful, beautiful, and oober strong. She's also wise and independant and she has an incredible sense of right and wrong. I like her:)

Another would be Thirrin from The Cry of the Icemark. She's a young princess of a kingdom, and her father dies and she has to rule the country while a war is going on, and she finds some unexpected allies...I like her because she's a great fighter, really pretty, and she's totally down-to-Earth. I mean, you would have to be, to rule a kingdom at 14!! She's also a very strong young woman of independance. She is also very feisty and has a sort of...fire(intensity and passion) about her.

I would also like to be Elizabeth 'Lizzy' Bennet from Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen. She's smart, beautiful, funny and she gets the man of her dreams. Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy (not the most beautiful firstname, but still =P )'

Myself, only in "Watership Down," because you see I like being me better than I would like being Hazel or any of the ohers, anyway if I was one of them I wouldn't be me at all, because I would be Hazel or Bigwig or whatever, therefore there would have to be a me somewhere wouldn't there? So I would acctually still be me. Hmmm, confusing, well that is my humble opinion.

I don't know if I'd want to be a character from a book. I mean, they've got their life planned out from Chapter 1, I wouldn't want that.

Gerald Tarrant from C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy.

    Conceited+Angsty+Sorcery=Cool

Richard Meyhew from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere and that snooty kid in J.D Salinger's Catcher in the Rye would also be great characters to be.
