I enjoyed the books thoroughly and I hope that the movies follow well. Is anyone else totally disappointed with the actor they cast as Edward? In my mind he was gorgeous as the description in the books portrays, however the actor that they claim to be Edward isn't bad looking just not drop-dead gorgeous like was supposed to be(also just remembered this in the book he had bronze hair in the movie he has dark hair-pay attention the book stupid directors! you're ruining a great book!)
I think the person who they casted for Edward is better than anyone else they have. Perhaps he doesn't look like all our envisioned Edwards, but will you actually ever be pleased with who they cast? Anyway, it could have been worse (ex. Zac Efron)
Zac Efron as Edward? Oh that would be so bad that I would never ever watch the movie! The guy that they did pick is okay, Robert Pattinson, I think. Surely they can't expect to please everyone's vision of him. I'm sure that some people do think of him as looking like Robert Pattinson, I have to admit when I first saw him I thought, OMG!?, but the idea's growing on me.
zac efron would completely ruin the books. The thing is... i doubt there is a guy as hot as what stephanie meyer put in her books. hmmm who's playing ... what's his name... ummm oh... the werewolf?
yupp, his name's taylor lautner, as far as I know he's only been in shark boy and lava girl...which was a VERY bad movie if I might ass :) but he just turned 14 at the beginning of this yr...and LOOK AT THAT 6 PACK HE'S GOT!! lmao
I always pictured Jacob as having bigger features than that, like I don't know being bulkier than Taylor Lautner. You have a point I don't think there is someone as hot as what Edward was supposed to be like in the book. I look at it this way as bad as Robert Pattison is it could a hell of a lot worse don't you think? I mean they really could have pickied Zac Efron, we joke about it, but it could have happened I'm just eternally grateful that it didn't
I loved the books. I'm so excited for the movie! The person who plays Edward's character was not who I wanted at first. Neither was Bella's. But I watched the trailer and now I'm hooked. I'm so going to the midnight showing.

I am literally counting down the days until the Dec. 12th movie release and even with my knowledge that movies do tend to ruin and thrash books I have faith that the movie adaption of Twilight will do it justice.
As for Robert Pattinson being casted as my Edward I have to say I couldn't be more pleased. Frankly I had never really heard of Robert before his being casted as Edward but when I seen him my thoughts were "Yeah I can totally see it". Contrary to what a lot are saying and complaining about -- Edward is supposed to be gorgeous...etc. Well I personally think Robert Pattinson is gorgeous but more so, beautiful just as I have always felt Edward has been depicted to be. My Edward has a true human face now and in a sense is being brought to life... yes I am very pleased.
I rather like the cast, I've even grown to like Alice, after many misconceivings about how she looked and how I had imagined her.
I really want to watch this movie when it comes out, and Robert Pattinson is a good Edward. And considering all the other actors out there, it could have been much much worse.
I made a poll 'Who should play Edward Cullen' and out of the 1250 times it's been taken, I can't believe that 20% picked Johnny Depp.
The teaser trailer was incredibly thrilling to watch and I can't wait until they have the full trailer out on the internet. The clip I saw with Bella, Edward, and Laurent was really good too.
I've been wanting to see that movie ever since I heard bout it. I also am disappointed bout the guy they picked but he's a good actor and the Edward I imagine is way hotter than any other guy I have ever seen. Anyways I hope the movie is really good.
