Singers in Bands:
1.) Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy): His voice is my favorite voice to listen to. The way he sings is amazing, kind of a combination of rock and soul, but if he just sang that way with out having his voice or knowing how to make it sound that way, he couldn't pull it off, but he does!! I love the way he changes things live and that you can tell he really REALLY enjoys singing.
2.)William Beckett (Fall Out Boy):
SOme people would say he's just a copy of Patrick, but I say no. It's a similer stlye but differnt and I love it! His voice sings over certain words in like a smooth way and it's also in a higher octive., there's just something about it!
3.) Bert McCracken (the Used): I don't like his voice in the same way as the others at all, but he's definnetly one of my fave. singers. He shnage his voice from soft, to scream just like that! ANd his range is amazing. I really admire the controll over his voice that he has.
Solos Artists:
With these it's less about their voices, but it's if you mean t like just singers, these are my faves.
1.) Sky Sweetnam
She's fun and has lots of additude! SHe can sing better then Avril L. and she just rocks! But I don't know what she's doing anymore.
2.)Nellie McCay
Her additude is just amazing! SHe's like this is me, she's funny. I really admore her, her voice is very unique also.
3. Pink
Very good voice, and another person I really admire.
1) Tim Buckley — The greatest singer of all time. Hands down. Not even arguable.
2) David Bowie — Iconic voice.
3) Markéta Irglová — Hear her in Once. Way under-rated and heading places huge. The song "If You Want Me" is spectacular. Sure, she's a wildcard throw-in for number three, and I have a dozen others who may or may not deserve this spot, but at the moment, she whisks me away to neverland...
This is subject to change (possibly in the next couple of days as the case may be):
Lou Reed: Not only one of the pioneers of alternative music as we know it today, but a pretty vicious singer too. Been around for years, and most people would've heard his name, even if you've never heard anything that he's sung.
Roger Daltrey: Has had as colourful a personal life as he has on stage. Fronting one of the first "Rock" bands in the world, he sung about the changing times, just as the punk movement did a decade later.
Bruce Dickinson: Amazing range, amazing energy and still amazingly contemporary. Just going through a New Wave of British Heavy Metal phase at the moment, so this artist is probably going to be the first one to move off my list.
