I don't like pirates and illegal stuff either. I love good quality and like you said it's disrespectful to the people who made it. I usually buy DVDs or go to cinema, BUT... on an occassion I do revert to watching movies on the net, or an odd illegal download. Come on, everyone does it. Plus I usually have a good reason, e.g. if I am very unsure if I'll like the movie, I watch it online, if I like it I'll buy a DVD, if not then hell with it, or what if I've been searching for some music CD for example for ages and can never find it, I might as well download it then.

I've never downloaded a film from the internet.

However, I have borrowed Music from my friends to put on my ipod, but it makes me feel guilty. Lol. =P

It makes me feel guilty too, but a lot of people don't, like my brother for example.

But anyways, like I said - I have a good reason most times.

I will watch a pirated copy of a friends,but I would never buy one. Its hypocritical,but it has more to do with the fact that if I buy a DVD,I want a quality original product.

Yeah, pirated DVDs suck... badly. It ruins the whole movie experience.

on the other hand, it's always very entertaining watching people (well technically heads) saying "excuse me, i wan't more popcorn/water"

I've only downloaded two movies. I bought one on DVD and I plan on purchasing the other. Is it so wrong to do that? Why should I give money to Regal theaters when I don't support their policies?

I download everything. All the movies I've seen in the past 3 months have been downloaded.

I love torrents!!!!Although I've never downloaded DVDRs. It's one of the main reasons I don't frequent movie theaters; maybe once in a blue moon. I'm a patient person. So if it takes 3-4 months for a good dvdrip to come out, I'll wait.

Usually I download movies I haven't seen in years. I've been trying to find "If Looks Could Kill(1991)". It's nowhere to be found.

Listen man, inflation's up on the rise. I remember we used to go watch movies all the time in grade 9 high school. Now like 5 years on, we only go once a month cos the tickets, the food, everything costs more. DVDs aren't cheap to buy, renting isn't cheap either and everything else is more expensive. Those bastards are screwing over the middle class and driving us into recession. This doesn't really affect actors.

Most smaller actors or crewmen would get the same amount of money whether everyone stayed legal or not. It only affects the CEOs and bigger actors. I really don't give a fuck if that Jolie bitch makes a few hundred thousand less. This is the 21st century. We still bend over to elitists to let them screw us over, use whatever made up small excuse to raise gas prices so I don't feel guilty at all if I download a movie. I'm not gonna pay like $30+ bucks to trace a dvd of an import movie from say Germany either.

And you can't be asked to spend 6 pound at the cinema or less. even 4 pound?
I think it is just plain selfish.

There creating a software to catch people from it, so personally, if you do download then I really can't wait till you get caught and they fine your asses.

I really don't care about illegal movie watching. I don't do it usually, just on an occassion and people who do it do not really piss me off, so I'm fine by it.

I very rarely download music nor movies, but my bro do it all the time, so I watch the movies he downloads and takes his music =P
Or, I just ask a friend to download ^^

In fact it's a great idea, you won't get caught like that.

You'll only get caught if you download a ton of music or movies, and even then, it's if you're an idiot. Use an IP Blocker at least.
