IMPORTANT PIRATE INFO:

1.Eye patches were not used to cover injured eyes, they were used to train your eyes to see better in Darkness allowing for navigation by the stars.
2.Having women aboard a ship would supposedly cause bad luck upon the ship.
3.Seamen believed that ferocious storms could be calmed by showing a naked woman to the aforementioned storm

so 2 and 3 kinda cancel themselves out
