Seriously, its the only game series installed in my PC. I am attached to this game, hook, line and sinker. I've finished Call of Duty 2 and 4.
3 is I think not out yet in PC and I'm trying to find a copy of the original CoD. It just happens that my favorite historical event of all time is World War 2 so yeah, this is a must-play.
WW2 shooters are becoming to get very old. No matter how much better the graphics, storyline or physics are the franchise just gets so worn out. Now Call Of Duty 5 is coming out and is titled World At War. This being another WW2 game has be wondering if this is ever going to stop?
I liked Cal Of Duty 4 for its modern setting but with 5 going back to WW2 has me wondering if the WW2 genra would ever stop?
i'm not a fan of either call of duty or medal of honor. i would probely have to go with ghost recon, although most modern warfare bores me i'd rather have it in advanced future or stuff back in the the 1800s
The veeery first Medal Of Honor games on the Playstation 1 back in 1999 were good because they were new and original. At that time it featured realistic graphics and what not but to today's standards it looks like crap now. The veeeery first playstation 2 Medal Of Honor titled Frontlines was yet again decent due to it taking advantage of the PS2 software.
A little after that the series started to sink to the bottom. Rising Sun was mediocre and the Next Gen Medal Of Honor failed to leave solid impressions. Word out now that theres yet another medal Of Honor in the works but this time around it is to be set in present day Afghanistan. Now if this is true expect it to possibly be gory and what not.
If it is censored and gets a T rating I probably wouldn't bother with it. As for Call Of Duty. The series has been doing somewhat pretty good. I played Call Of Duty 4 and ended up liking it alot but never played the originals. I heard 1 and 2 were best but the otheres were so so. It wasn't til number 4 that it was to get better again.
I am hoping that World At War is a successor to Call Of Duty 4.
