I'd go with Sauron. His army is more inhuman and more menacing in my opinion. Plus he is the dark Lord and has the power. Xerxes just likes to think of himself as the Lord, though he is just a human.

DOA girls. Charlie's Angels are more for comedy (well, that's what I thought when I watched the first one), while the DOA girls are all business.

Hmm, not quite sure, but I'm a big fan of Saw movies, so I'd probably go with Jigsaw. He managed to come up with clever ideas even when on the verge of death.
