I saw the trailer for it and it doesn't really seem that good, but then again, it's just not my thing...

I think its directed by the guy who made the appalling AvP but I'm still gonna see it tho.

It will be a top-shelf B-Grade movie. So it can't be all bad.

Love Jason Statham....he looks like my Hubby but without the crooked nose from all the breaks.

Paul WS Anderson has been around alot in Hollywood lately. With releasing AVP back in 2004 as well as being a Writer/Producer on Resident Evil 2 and 3 shows he has gotten himself around quite a bit. He also produced this film called The Dark which was a pretty decent and yet scary film.

Paul WS Anderson has been bragging about Deathrace for a couple of years now so it is good to see it FINALLY happen. From the trailer I saw at theaters it looks to show somewhat kinda promise. What I think is very funny is the fact that Tom Cruise is producing this film. That right there just shows how far he has came.

is it a remake of deathrace 2000 or sequel or totally new film?

It kinda reminds me of that Twisted Metal game that I was addicted to when I was a youngling. It was way back when the fad is the Sony Playstations and the Gameboys.
