Debate - Why Hitler doesnt even rate a mention.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modernity

Read up and learn some basic things about Modernity.

    Some observations:

    1. No mention of Hitler
    2. Science and Tech only rates 2 short paragraphs.
    3. The defintion:

"Modernity is a term that refers to the modern era. It is distinct from modernism, which, in different contexts, refers to cultural and intellectual movements of the period."

Some articles from Wikipedia are full of bullshit, or else they contradict each other. But now they have backup servers, if they notice that someone edited malicious information in an article, he'll have his IP and PC serial blocked xD so the guy will have to get a new ISP, format his HD and probably a new motherboard to gain access to the site :P

Also, Hitler liked it up the rear. Yes he did.

Khris, you're in your 20s. You'd be naive if you thought a person/event is unimportant just because they aren't mentioned in some Wikipedia article. You're smarter than that because that kind of logic is really twisted.

^ You are absolutley right mate. I am smarter.

The wikipedia article is the only thing I could find so it makes it easier for you guys to understand.

    -_____-""

I didnt learn any of this off wiki you morons. I studied this at uni... and the last thing we use is Wiki.

Its either that, or I save and paste up some scholar's articles for you all to digest.... which could be pretty tough, especially for some idiots around here...

Wikipedia does not contribute well to your argument. This is for a few reasons. The most blatant has already been mentioned, so I will continue with this question: Why does the lack of a proper mentioning in an article support your argument? The LACK of anything supports nothing. Being devoid of content just renders it a total lack of support. All you can say is that Hitler wasn't mentioned. You cannot give a proper WHY that isn't backed up by ignorant opinions and dogmatic ideas. I CAN, and have, informed you about what Hitler has contributed to the modern society. BACKED UP with facts.... derived from common sense in regards to all of my optional studies on Hitler- and even from your beloved Wikipedia, which I really try to ignore.

Anyway, can you see why a LACK OF INFORMATION gives you nothing to support your argument with... if there were something there....

And don't tell me the point is that there is nothing there, because you will only be able to support that with your repetative nonsense.

The point in regards to the previous statement is that Wikipedia is fool's proof, and can only be backed by the things you have frequently repeated.

I have a Wikipedia, and I am SURE that, being a loyal member for all of that time, they will gladly accept a contribution to that article about Hitler.

You should also consider all of the occupations that were filled by experts, in the order of Hitler, who, at the time, contributed greatly to the strength of Deutschland, and now

Meh, it's not something to get worked up over, think as you'd like, we're probably screwed anyways.

I think all of us here think Hitler (or the people who influenced/controlled Hitler in my case) impacted history/modern society...and Khris is the only one who doesn't.

Last thing I wanna say though, is...UNITED NATIONS. The main goal of starting WW2 was to bring about the UN imo. The UN is stronger than it should be and it's shown as, in the near future, it'll become even stronger as the green movement grows and America changes. For me, it's like a pre-cursor for a one-world government if that ever happens.

I agree with all those opposing the main heading of this "debate". Meet me in Berlin and tell people Hitler didn't have an affect on modern society. :) You would be ridiculed. It is obvious that you only consider your country, when Deutschland was affected by his influence greatly. Tell the Deutschen who are still using old materials in school so that money could be used for other constructive things. Tell us of your extreme idiocy. You cannot even BEGIN to convince me of your "point". Australians...

Nice little essay about how the article doesnt contribute to disproving that Hitler didn't influence modern society.

Too bad its all bullshit. It pretty much for the little fact that "modern" society as YOU ALL DEFINE IT, is not HOW YOU DEFINE modern society. From a literal, uneducated point of view... yes. But thats the whole thing is it?? You havn't really defined what is "modern" society, and what influences it. So if thats not done, how can you support this notion that Hitler influenced "modern" society?? And lets face it, he supported a society in the 1930's to 40's which was devoid of any of the characteristics of a modern society... facisim and nazism is a throwback to the middle ages monarchy and pretty much is a new form of corruption.

The CORRECT information is all there... you just didnt bother to read it, you just mentioned some basic observations I made. If you took the time to read and LEARN (yeah, a concept none of you possess) you would see WHY (another concept which you all dont care about)

You go ahead and bring up "this" view in a conversation with intelligent people, you might as well go sit back in the quiet corner where you came from. (and especially with pro-nazi fuckers like yourself, Im pretty sure you aren't invited any dinner tables)
