I LOVED Burstein's The Kid Stays in the Picture, such a fresh and original documentary, and I'm really psyched to see she's at it again. The trailer for American Teen, all the Sundance buzz, and the reviews make it sound right up my alley. I love a good doc--The Last Waltz, Standing in the Shadows of Motown, A Decade Under the Influence, American Movie...hoping to add American Teen to the list. What are some other great docs I've gotta see?

Also checked out the facebook page for American Teen, it's really comprehensive and fun--http://www.facebook.com/americanteen--they've got great info on the bands on the soundtrack, some giveaways and screening updates, and a really fun application where you find out which high school 'type' you were--princess, jock, rebel, geek. I was a geek. Shocker.
