    10,000 BC

This film has been hyped earlier this year due to it's visuals and what not. People anticipated this to be this years 300 and this years action film. To my disappointment this film was a pile of crap. Not only did it have a cast of no names but it was historically inaccurate. The film was ripped off from Mel Gibson's apocalypto and was a sheer waste of money.

It had a waste of good cinematography and also special effects. The action scenes couldn't even feel epic due to how lame the storyline and scenario's were. There were also so many errors to easily spot on screen it was basically a waste. Roland Emmerich had a somewhat good movie making history.

He directed Stargate,Indepenence Day, the patriot and even did some iffy ones like Day After Tomorrow and Godzilla. He has the upcoming film 2012 and Fantastic Voyage to work on. With 10,000 BC it marks his most epic failure of all films. Seeing this was a waste of my money and time.

    Avoid it if you can.

    2/10

It was a waste of my hard earned money and do feel ripped off watching it. It is one of those movies that I wish I could have the ammount of time watching it gotten back. It was a waste of good visual effects and also the film had TONS of errors in it. One of them was the fact we didn't see the air coming out of their mouths when they were in the snowy climate.

Also the fact they had clean teeth was also a stupid thing on their part too. It is a miserable rip off of apocalypto and is also most certainly a joke as well. Avoid this film like you would avoid the plague.

It was just a waste of good hard earned money and all of it was on production. The actors weren't known and the action segments were very boring. The film was also 100 percent inaccurate as well. I mean when was it stated that Wooley Mammoths were used to help build pyramids?

Also the whole story on one man being the chosen one due to his encounter with a Saber Toothe tiger was just nonsense. The only 3 things I admit that were good was the visual effects, sound design and cinematography. Other then that everything else was complete garbage.

I hope I'm not the only one to say I enjoyed this movie.

Historical accuracy isn't of crucial importance to me, at least when its not intended which I believe is the case with this movie.

If you can name another film out there were you can see Wooly Mammoths building the pyramids please tell me.

I don't have any aspirations of changing anyones mind about this movie I just want to give it the credit 'I' think it deserves.

Well 10,000 BC is ONE of the worst reviewed films of the year. almost every critic out there bombed the film for its sloppy story and production issues. The only saving grace was the visuals and sound design. If the film should get any Academy Award nominations it should be for the visual effects or sound. Aside of that the film was complete garbage.

When I first saw previews I thought I would've been in for an epic prehistoric film not some rip off of Apocalypto with bargain bin actors. Only and if only this film went in for another rewrite during pre production then this would've been something a bit decent. Unfortunately the writers strike was going on at that time and Warner Brothers needed something to help them make an easy buck at the box office.

This film was a complete letdown

It could have and should have been so much better.

Some visuals were excellent, but I agree that the casting, acting and storyline were terrible.

The whole film was just a waste of valuable money. I feel sorry for Warner Brothers on squandering their money on something so useless.
