Everyone likes a different type of film, with different characters and different stories! If you could make an ideal movie, a perfect film for you, a dream movie, what is it going to be like? For example, my dream movie is a film based on the video game named Gothic. The nameless hero would be Christian Bale. Other actors: Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Edward Norton, Denzel Washington, Jim Carrey, Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera (a very small role), Morgan Freeman, Ian McKellen, Tom Cruise, Vin Diesel, Aaron Eckhart, John Sharian, Viggo Mortensen, Heather Graham and me, as a farmer' s son. The movie length should be 4 hours or 5, the soundtrack should be kept from the game; the same with the story! Peter Jackson should help me directing the movie and the script should be written by Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens! The other things (lighting effects, locations, other actors etc.) are not very important...

My dream movie would be an action movie with a twisted story and mysterious atmosphere, whilst containing some dark humour. The main character will have to be a dark hero (such as The Punisher, etc) who will have a funny sidekick (hopefully someone non-human like Abe Sapiens from Hellboy) and there'll also be a small part for his love interest (she'll have to be cute and attractive). The main villain will have to be someone mysterious too, perhaps someone like Freddy or Jason. Speaking of which, there should be a lot of sick gore, but not exaggerated amount. I want there to be a twist nearly every 10 minutes and the kind of plot where you want to know what will happen because you can't predict it. The action must be pretty frequent and no boring scenes so it will be a great movie for rewatching. The length should be 2 hours long, not any longer so then I can always find time to watch it.
Another dream movie for me sounds like this: a drama based on three stories; a doctor (Christian Bale), who has an accident; a young rebel who thinks is a ,,Jesus of suburbia" (Justin Chatwin), but ends up, killing himself and a female detective (Angelina Jolie) who investigates an asylum. Something like Crash. Brad Anderson should help me directing this, and the movie length should be 3 hours! Of course, the movie must have three brilliant twists, a great soundtrack and a dramatic ending...

I don't really have a dream movie but I do want Edward Norton and Brad Pitt to work together again, any project that's fine with me. They're supposed to work in State of Play together but Ed dropped due to creative differences.
To cut a long story short, a vampire film...a vampire turning a certain mortal immortal, going on missions etc etc, meeting new faces along the way, enemies and allie's etc. I'd have passionate and blood and gore action in it too...not a comedy, more of like a serious story-line...something like that.
Great topic,for improving thoughts bring out the most courageous ideas.A dream movie of mine would have to be an erotic drama,theatrically-made,dense,provoking,jaw-dropping,dialogue and silence altogether.I'd pick either Jacques Rivette or Wong Kar Wai in the director's chair,Emmanuel Beart or Kate Winslet as the leading lady and Sergi Lopez or Koji Yakusho as the main actor.Full nudity,explicit sex and fierce verbal strength.A passionate love story with dream-like sequences.That would be one of my dream movies...
That's a really interesting cast of characters there, but I think they could all work if you use them correctly; although I'm not sure Christina Agulera has done any acting. I also liked your choice of Peter Jackson as the director - Lord of Rings was a great series.
Great topic but so many ideas come to mind... Probably Eric Idle and Gene Wilder as brothers and travelling bums in modern day america dissecting society or as thieves in a medievilish fantasy land or even cavemen... I don't know... For me the ultimate spoof/comedy would be Gene Wilder and Eric Idle as brothers...
