i believe that its coming out sometime in may. as to whether its gonna be good or not i cant say. personally i think that the entire bridge crew of the enterprise meeting up at the same time seems a bit silly. and judging by the trailer kirk gets command of the enterprise when he is in his what... mid twenties or something. i mean, would a twenty-something get command of an aircraft carrier today? dont think so. maybe im over thinking it though. im not overly excited about it.
I think it looks good. I'm not a Star Trek fan, and I don't really know anything about Star Trek, but after we watched the trailer, even my wife said "I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait to see Star Trek." I'll wait for the seats to clear out, but it looks like something that needs to be watched in theaters. Effects look great.
all in all it was ok for a treky movie .they took it from the very beginning and added a slight twist to the space time continuiom.1 life form from diff time periods either past or future occupying the same space at one time was supposed to have dissrupted the universe as we know it.A slight quote from spock in an early episode from the trek series.Had alot of real gaping holes in the story that are better enough left out..... special effects were ok most scenes were a copy of starship troopers including the ending.The character representation was good really captured the young personas of each character.they are really going to have work hard to get a second release thogh this one barely launched as was the most anticipated by treky fans .A far cry from xmas lights and a carboard set lol ohh and live long and prosper is now have a good day what a farce to the vulcan heritage
