I'm not sure if I want to see this one I probablly will see it because when a Harry Potter movie comes out we usually see it in school or youth club.
I enjoyed the first and second and I also really enjoyed the fouth but the first ones have been about the best I think I don't think the other exept the fouth have been as good they have been good but just an average movie like the others really.
I think this one will have the spark of comedy the first 2, even 3 had. I like the 4th and 5th but they lacked something the first 3 had.
This one is going to be amazing, I'm excited to see Ron playing quidditch since that was cut from the last movie, a lot more Draco Malfoy, and lots of fun..
Half Blood Prince is one of my favorite books from the series and im sure the movie will not dissapoint
I can imagine a veritable frenzy to rush to see this, after WB withheld it for so many months. I hope the essence of the book is kept intact and they don't just go for dazzling effects. OOTP was my favourite out of the novels and they obviously had to cut it a lot for the film, but I still thought it was pretty-good. I might go watch this at the weekend if I get a chance, and if I can wait that long :)
Honestly... i'm a huge fan and all that...
But is it wrong that i laughed when Dumbly died?
I mean sure it's sad and all that... but stilll did you see his expression?!
not the best Potter but it holds its own. Dan carries HBP with ease, Michael Gambon's Dumbledore is easily his best in the series and Tom Felton finally evolves from a one-dimensional school bully to a dark and brooding character.
you know, we were supposed to hate his guts when he's about to kill Dumbledore but Tom's acting and delivery of line made us feel sorry and sympatethic for Draco, that is some mighty fine acting right there.
there were a few weak points like the reveal of the HBP, the effing funeral was cut out and not even a decent wand fight scene. Apparently, they decided to cut the fight scene in the book so it wouldn't feel identical to DH's Battle of Hogwarts so you just know right there Potter 7 is going to be epic x10.
You know what pisses me off?
They're splitting the last movie into two. Earn more money and force people to wait and wait
=(
But still.. Dumbly was okay i thought the old one represented him better
I thoroughly enjoyed HP6. I know a lot of people were annoyed at bits cut from the book, but as a film, I think it worked quite well, although was just a tad slow in one or two places I felt. I think it may now be my favourite of the Potter adaptations, but not sure 'cos I did really love the second one.
