Did any saw this movie trailer of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) this movie was an wonderful animation and those people who wish to see animated movies did waited on this movie for so long time. Free movies we have seen it and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) movie was filled with adventures and animation
Bad story, poor animation, the actors seemed bored doing it, the kids around me were bored to tears, my wife fell asleep, and I struggled to stay awake. The characters are so redundant. If I never see that squirrel thing again, it will be too soon. This junker should have gone straight to video.
It's obviously a money-making machine rather than a film. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is not bad, it's just completely unsophisticated.
What really bothers me is the 3-D because everyone is saying how it's 'revolutionary', yet:
1. Why do we pay for the glasses and the technology?
2. I do not see the huge difference from seeing a film in 2D than 3D. For example, Coraline 3D. Stop-motion is a marvel to watch on normal 2D so why it's any different on 3D?
3. I do not believe it is 'immersive' in any way, just so that pointy things can point out at you.
Coraline was FANTASTIC in 3-D. Perfectly compliment each other. I use it as an example when I tell people which 3-D movie out there is worth seeing with those stupid glasses on. Ice Age 3, like Up, weren't made with 3-D in mind. I tell people not to bother.
Coraline was great as a film, but why did it have to be in 3-D?
With the 3-D re-issue of The Nightmare Before Christmas a couple of years ago, I was wondering the same thing. Would I have had a different experience in 2-D? The answer is no, except I had to pay for the stupid glasses!
Personally, I think this is a piracy issue, that's why many studios are backing it
I have now seen Ice Age 3 and I thought it was very good much better than the other two I would say I couldn't expect more.More stuff was happening in it the story was not slow and the caracters did well I thought it was more enjoyable by far. This is my favourite movie this year so far.
Followed by Night at the museum 2 which is my second favourite and Fast and Furious which is my third.
^LOL.
Coraline was made with 3-D in mind. They change the way things are done while making the movie to push the images out, and I think it works when done right. A Nightmare Before Christmas had nothing to do with 3-D. Just like the last two (Up and Ice Age: Let's Waste More Of Jason's Money), they just did it for more money. I think Coraline was much better in 3-D.
