!I am making a rare post - after 3 months - to say this. So i expect a lot of attention please. BUTTTT....
Arctic Monkeys Humbug is there best album by far! It's amazing! I shouldnt have favourites. But Humbug is oh so much more amazing. And sounds amazing live! Lets never diss. Ever!
They always tell you they like you and express the epic pain associated with not being close to you. At length, you submit, they go emo and get bored of you, and begin to whine (at you, no less) about someone else they like who they'll never get close to.
Or maybe it varies from relationship to relationship. Either way, Juju. I feel your pain.
omg Jezzy hit the nail on the head right there.
Some men are stupid when it comes to relationships they just say what they think girls want to hear and don't care about our actual feelings.
But Jezzy you have'nt had a boyfriend so how can you know? It's not about boys. People are jerks in general but there's a good one for every bad one so you just have to find them. Some people are terrible at this and end up stuck.
And Scotty, I like Humbug but COME ON it's not their best album. I'll listen to it a few more times but Crying Lightning is the only song on that to match some of the better ones on the other albums. Corner Stone, Secret Door, Potion Approaching, Fire and the Thud, all good but not the best. Also, wtf is with the new music video. I like how they change up a bit on each album though, I respect that as a Keane fan.

I've had a boyfriend. I've just never dated. And you don't have to do either to have some sort of relationship. :/
Yeah, hence he's just a friend who happens to be male, not a boy friend. -____-"
There's a difference between boy friends and boyfriends. So shut the hell up, and get over it. :/
At any rate, the reason there was no dating involved was a matter of religion (no dating for him before 16), and the other was distance, if that even counts. So let's not go there.
Ok Rabbit, I presume by your generalized statement you are talking about a specific situation and while not knowing the details I can only say this...
You know how you don't tell a guy you like them or that something is the matter, that they're just supposed to know?
Yeah it's alot like that.
The only difference is that guys aren't as comfortable with relationships as girls. Instinctualy we are not drawn to emotionally bonding situations until that comfort level has been reached. Which is why you'll never see one watching Ophra or daytime soaps. It takes more than 30 minutes and we'd much rather avoid the drama.
Whereas for girls, life if empty without it.
If, you like who likes you let them know cuz until then the fear of rejection will always keep you apart.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to to kick some puppies and slap some babies N' sh!t.
But the 3rd album is my personaly fave. The Jewellers Hand is one of thee best songs I've ever heard. Ever. And the new video is kinda cringe - but makes me laugh! Ha
Khris, why is this so important to you? <_> All you need to be boyfriend/girlfriend is to call each other that. And really, you made the assumption that there was no emotion involved? There was.
And there was time together. Sort of. XD And let me tell you something-- there was almost physical contact!
I think females are better at sensing emotional connections, and we seem to be braver. Guys miss signs that we think are obvious, sometimes their logic just gets in the way of their brain recepting that we like them.
No one has the right to minimise other people's relationships, or to pass judgement. Only the two people involved know the depth of feeling and commitment that was involved.

I've noticed too that we seem to think we're making something obvious, but to other people it's not so clear. How are they supposed to know what we're thinking? Sometimes other girls, especially close ones, are already looking out for each other emotionally... so I think they tend to notice emotions a little easier.
