The NEW Auto Thread in the RC. Car Lovers welcome!! Anyone else, please behave.
Welcome to the awsome Auto Thread, where anything cars, motorbikes, trucks (and perhaps boats and planes) is relevant. Talk about your favourite auto, fastest, sexiest, most powerful or just fugly. Post pics, ask questions, give us news, feedback and such. Anyone welcome to post, just no haters and off topic BS.
If it was my car I'd gladly post it, my father hates posting his stuff publicly and I'm going to respect that, google 250gte that's it.
I did see a 250GTO last time I went to Italy, had no idea they were rare. If you're really a fan of the car and would like to see one spend one day in the streets of Milan and you're done.
That's the "Concorso Italiano 2009" couldn't attend this year with my father, I might attend next year. There was a GTO last time I attended. It's not just Ferraris btw, all Italian cars.
Everyone ignored this in the last Auto thread, so here I go posting it again...
My mum insured Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! The closest thing to a claim to fame that I have, apart from my that my dad keeps on meeting minor celebrities, oh and my aunt went on a drinking binge with Ozzy Osbourne for a night...
I personally want a Carver, not very practical, and a bit expensive but awesome,
also there are only two dealerships that sell them in the UK and one of them is in a town nearby!
On the other hand, those french air powered cars look good, not massively fast but fast enough, good for the environment, easy to refuel (takes 2 mins to recharge using a compressed air canister, or recharges overnight from ambient air), they can go quite far on one charge, and you don't need a driver's licence to drive one.
Carver is pretty cool i guess, but i think it ruins both driving and riding experience.
I'm getting a caterham r500 superlight after the winter. I returned my lotus to them and put a down on a r500 superlight. When i get it in the spring, i'm having a shop put it together and do some engine mods so i can get about 320whp. The car comes with 260 and its super quick as it is, but i want more. lol
I'm not buying the car for top end speed. I'm buying the car for its quickness and handling. You know the caterham r500 went around the top gear track faster than a veyron.
I usually watch Top Gear whenever i'm bored. I compare their reviews of the cars i've driven, and most of the time they are spot on (except for little personal opinions).
I am to call Caterham tomorrow and place an order for my R500 superlight or CSR. Then one of my friends with a Toniq R sends me a text and say that i should get a Toniq R instead of a Caterham. I think i'm still going to go with a Caterham though, i will let you guys know what happens tomorrow.
I dont know why you buy a lot of jackfruit?? do you like it?? lol i keed i keed.
Plus, life is short and you only live once. You gotta make the most of it and have fun.
I called and ordered a caterham r500 superlight. I can still change the order to a CSR within a week if i want. I wont get it until March....i'll post some pictures of it in March if you want. lol
It's about time! It's like the designer said; "you know I think I'll make a car for Civ."
