Was getting a little sick of Jack Black for awhile, so I wasn't expecting much. But this is some great cheesy humor, I happily laughed my butt off at the ridiculousness of it all. Glad they finally decided to make a movie from their original characters I used to see on HBO's "Mr. Show with Bob and David" back in the 90s. Jack Black does his over-the-top schtick excellently as usual. Nice to see Kyle Gass get some screen time and character development. Tim Robbins and Ben Stiller had great parts, but Dave Grohl as Satan rocked my socks off! Not the greatest comedy, but awesome for what it is- a rock 'n' roll stoner comedy. |

I like Cameron Diaz, but I just wasn't impressed with her all that much in this. The rest of the actors made up for it, however. |
