The acting is stellar, the directing is phenomenal, and most of all, the movie is so accurate in showing how subjective our own memories are that even Neuroscientist's admire its portrayal. Operatic cinematography, realistically resonating storyline from ultra-talented writer/director Michael Mann and one of the best (one could possibly say, THE best) shootouts ever seen in a movie. Oh, and did I mention Pacino and DeNiro go head to head? |

I agree with the majority of your list, especially "Heat". Best shootout. Memento-best plot and explanation on perception. I thought I was the only one who saw "Oldboy", too. Everyone should watch this one, too. I'd like to include "Wasabi"-another Asian movie.
