    Wow! Where, if you've seen it, is THE BITTER TEARS OF PETRA VON KANT or VERONIKA VOSS - those are among my favorites, along with THE MARRIAGE OF MARIA BRAUN, ALI: FEAR EATS THE SOUL, etc. BERLIN ALEXANDERPLATZ is not in the database because it's a TV mini-series and they claim they don't allow TV movies/mini-series in their system - though I KNOW I've seen/rated some! :(

    Bitter Tears is on number 3 in the above list. I like Veronika Voss too (along with Lola, the other film in the BRD trilogy). I could have made space for it by replacing Martha but really he made too many films and it is hard to choose top 10.

    Fassbinder wouldn't have approved of Berlin Alexanderplatz being classified as a TV miniseries. He saw it as one complete feature film and that's how he wanted others to see it too.
