Dogma (1999, R)
When I finally happened to see this film on TV, I didn't see it as particularly blasphemous at all (and I'm a Christian). Sure, the movie takes plenty of shots at organized religion and man-made institutions, but it seems to treat the concepts of God and faith with a surprising and welcome degree of reverence, and the message you're left with is decidedly pro-spiritual. |
