How many studio executives does it take to reinforce a stereotype? Loved the show as a kid, but this Tinsletown movie-by-committee remake fails on every level except for some inspired casting choices: Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse, Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, and Jessica Simpson in those Daisy Dukes. (Sexist, I know, but damn) |
