1930s films
Films from the 1930s with a definite bias towards screwball comedy, Cary Grant, Fredric March, Katharine Hepburn, and Fred & Ginger.

Night Must Fall (1937, Unrated)Interesting character study/"thriller" with two of my favorite classic movie actors. More of a psychological drama, it really doesn't go anywhere; this in itself is kind of a surprise and a relief. At a certain point in the film, one kind of loses the expectation of cliched suspense and realize it's just about these two characters' psyches. Unusual and worth seeing, even with its faults. |
