Classic! Both Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant are fantastic in this crazy comedy with a rediculously unbelievable plot that leads you on a wild leopard chase and into a quirky romance.

You need a lot of patience to watch this film even though it is only 95min. The version of this I saw was the worst quality of film I have ever seen: It looked as if someone filmed a projection of the original film with another old and bad quality film. There are some long 'meeting' scenes with a lot of dialogue that was not included with the subtitles. The subtitles were pretty horrible and I am sure the film would be much better to someone who knows German. Regardless of these hurdles and considering the time it was filmed, this piece is fantastic!! The kidnapping scenes are hauntingly well filmed, and it's excellently acted by Peter Lorre. Analyzes the citizens' responses to dealing with a child murderer.

Pretty good!! An exotic story with classy leads. Unfortunately, I watched a 'described' version that is for blind people and it read the screenplay outloud, so it was more cheesy and annoying than it should be. haha

Bette Davis is fantastic in this role! Excellent! :) Was almost exactly like Gone With the Wind... and I was astonished that she could play the role as well as Vivien Leigh! :)

Sylvia Sidney is adorable! The male lead is also very attractive, witty and handsomely protective of the lead lady. I love that the setting is a movie theatre! :)

Call Her Savage (1932) 4.5 Stars
Clara's character, with profound similarities to her actual life, is perhaps a firecracker flying off the handle at times (which was rather entertaining! I laughed), but ultimately a victim of men and of circumstance. She lives her life attempting to be true to her self, but in the process is used by men for her beauty and experiences one tragedy after another. The poor girl doesn't always make the best choices but, she is real and honest.
