Kitty Foyle: The Natural History of a Woman 4.5 Stars
A movie set in a time when women started to be allowed to make thier own choices and be seen more as equals to men. This movie surprisingly addressed questions that young women still deal with today! A thoughtful movie! stunning. Ginger Rogers is not only a gorgeous star, but is smart, down to earth, funny and sexy :) An excellent film!! :D

The Great Dictator 5.0 Stars
Charming, chaotic, dramatic, hilarious! This film is a CLASSIC with a huge message and a lot of slapstick. One of the 7 talkies Charlie Chaplin created, it helped cause him to be kicked out of America... A shame for such a wonderful man! An awesome film :)

An excellent film about a woman in a marriage she feels isolated and unloved within and the tragedy of living with her beauty which causes torment and pain to her and others. Realistically portrayed, Vivien Leigh acts her scenes DELICIOUSLY well. I nearly balled! :)

The Big Sleep (1946,  Unrated)
The Big Sleep 4.0 Stars
The second hit starring the sensational chemistry of Bogart and Bacall! (the first one was To Have and HAve Not and is AWESOME!) This one is also an excellent sleuth film noir! My boyfriend is slowly getting into these old films, he used to think they were slow and boring, but got a laugh out of the witty talk and 007ish quality of the film, while being intruiged with the plot (and the main lady but, I was quite taken with her too).
