Marnie (1964, PG)
Absolutely EXCELLENT! A psychoanalytical taming of the shrew with an amazing cast! Tippi is an absolute vixon at playing a woman who is tormented by an unconscious past, acting out in many antisocial ways. FABULOUS! Sean Connery does an amazing job as the man who falls in love with her and will do what he can to help her deal with her neurosis and get out of trouble with the law. |

The Apartment (1960, Unrated)
An excellent plot! :) Both Lemon and McLaine shine out wonderfully in this sometimes quirky film that is actually steeped in adultery. Two genuine personalities are stamped down by dominating, demoralizing, womanizing buisnessmen at a large firm. Out of the well drawn plot of downward twists blossoms a charming little romance. A must see, it is really that good! :) |
