2000 Faves and Raves
I am always going to remember the bus scene in Almost Famous when I hear "Tiny Dancer" and the reignition of my deep infatuation for Pedro Almodovar films happened this year. The Cell was definitely one of the movies that stayed in my psyche long after I'd seen it. Ah...Miss Congeniality. Sandra Bullock I love you so. I, too, want World Peace. And that little Swedish Film Show Me Love. What a priceless thing. Oh, and George Washington, the quiet genius of David Gordon Green was born.
