The Count of Monte Cristo (2002, PG-13)
Truly inspiring! amazing! i love this movie. one of my all-time favorite. What touched me most was that when Dantes struggles deeply with his belief in God yet he moved and experienced mature faith. The priest confesses..."when they asked me about the treasure in Sparta, i lied". "you lied?" Dantes asks. "I'm a priest, not a saint". Then he told him how to use the map to find the treasure. "When you escape," the priest continues, "use the treasure for good. Only for good." "No," Dantes says angrily. I will surely use it for my revenge." The priest says, "This is your final lesson. Do not commit the crime-(the priest struggles for a breath)for which you now serve the sentence. God said, "Vengeance is mine". Dantes says, " But I don't believe in God." "It doesn't matter," the priest responds with a smile. "He believes in you." WOW! i love that!!! "KING'S TO YOU, ALL!!! |

it was a great musical movie! good casting, too! my favorite part, "they both reached for the gun" was so amazing! a very good recommendation for musical & performing art movie lovers. kudos to all of you! |
