Wow! Intense, I haven't sat through a movie and been so captivated in ages. Can't wait to see the American adaption, but there's no way it'll be as good as this.

Very well-done, not just another teen flick.

Facinating story, well acted, some great jokes and heartbreaking moments, and of course, a happy ending. Doesn't get much better than that.

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (,  G)

This may be an oxymoron, but this is the smartest stoner movie I've ever seen. And funniest, by far. Go in expecting something along the lines of Dude Where's My Car, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's a ridiculously simple concept with endless twists and turns and lovable characters, and even some surprisingly human moments interlaced with themes of racism -- but it never loses the humour. Perhaps my favourite moments are Harold and Kumar listening to the "extreme tunage" in the punks' truck, and of course Neil Patrick Harris playing a rude, crude, and extremely horny version of himself -- which has only gotten funnier since the actor came out of the closet. What sets this "stoner" movie apart from the rest? It's still funny when you're sober.

Kinda slow, and the Scottish accents are so thick I needed to turn on the subtitles, but beautifully written and well-acted. Damn Gerard Butler needs to do more movies!

A great satire on filmmaking, celebrity culture, and Canadian/American relations. Simultaneously humourous and poignant. Mark Rendall is a rare truly gifted young actor. Great cast all-around.

Eternal Sunshine yes, but come on no Aviator or Million Dollar Baby?
