I only went to see this movie because my wife wanted to see it and I'm always willing to tag along if only for the popcorn. I have to say that I was very impressed with Jodie Foster's portrayal of a disgruntled former victim.

Dead Silence (2007,  R)
Dead Silence 3.5 Stars
Puppets and Clowns, 2 things that are meant for fun and laughter but in some cases come off as creepy and disturbing. Dead Silence takes the first road and creates a rather interesting tale that though lacking in some acts still makes for an entertaining time.

White Noise 2: The Light (2007,  PG-13)
White Noise 2: The Light 3.5 Stars
I got a chance to see this movie recently and it was not what I really expected. The main problem is that the film takes too seriously itself and it tries to scare with elements which do not produce fear from 30 years ago.White Noise 2 has a good first half, but the second half is pathetic.

You Kill Me (2007,  R)
You Kill Me 3.0 Stars
We went to see the movie because we were too late for Indiana Jones.
The movie tried hard to be different. The movie also tried to present itself as something intelligent and above the rest. And that were its problem. The story was obviously different, the script and treatment were bad. The dialogues ? though sounding witty and intelligent ? sounded forced and stupid. It did not bring any smiles on my face. I think the casting also was poorly done. Though I don`t regret to have watched it.
