Only movie I'd been to that when it was over, everyone in the theatre stayed for the credits and left in complete silence.
The shakiness gets annoying at times though.

This film reminded me of teen movies from the late 90's, excellent movie, I really enjoyed it. I recommend anyone to see it.

Jumper
(2008, PG-13)
I found this film entertaining, the concept appealed to me from very early trailers, but I almost knew from the beginning it wasn't going to fulfill it's full potential, which it didn't. The film was too short and not enough in-depth or reasoning, still very enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe they didn't quite get this one right, but there's already a sequel in the making, so maybe it'll be better... I hope

Alright, I'm just gonna get right into this one... as we all know, Will Farrell has done some flops lately, Blades of Glory really wasn't a funny movie, you die-hard Farrell fans may disagree, whatever, it wasn't funny. His last semi-descent movie was Talladega Nights and that was what? 2 years ago... This film was a definite flop, very unfunny, most unfunny comedies have their alright funny moments, this one had less than three 'laugh out load' worthy moments, they were few and far between and not memorable after all, as for the plot, I suppose it was alright, even though it was a lost cause and they knew it from half-way through the movie, yet they still go for it. Farrell's performance was very lacking, I just didn't feel the vibe he gives off when he's being funny, it wasn't there. I would say this movie was Semi-Good, but then I'd be thinking far too highly of it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this all together, there's no aspect of the film that's worth the time.

I knew going in, this wasn't going to be much of a comedy, but instead a more of a love story-ish type film. Of course knowing this was by the guys who made Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead I still expected some comedy, which there was just enough to keep me satisfied. But in the time before the initial climax seemed very slow and a bit boring, although the ending is semi-worth it.

Not nearly as funny as I'd thought it'd be from the trailers. Actually, not very funny at all. Better than Semi-Pro, but still not really worth the waste of time or money. The first hour and a half run very slow with the occasional laugh and the last half hour was pretty good, but even though it a 'good' ending bit doesn't mean the entire movie is. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one, you won't be missing much.

Alright, I downloaded this one because it's been getting attention lately from it's recent release in theatres, anyway, this movie felt very boring, stretched out and lacking of just about anything worth being a plot. Sure, it has a plot, but it can be summarized in less than 2 minutes, hell probably less than 1. Sure, it's a kids' movie, so the plot isn't very important, I can agree with people on that to an extent, but this was just pathetic. I'd never actually read the book, I'm sure I would have liked it as a kid, it's Dr. Suess...who doesn't love that stuff? But look at The Grinch; they turned that into a feature film and it turned out just fine. This on the other hand, not so much. The whole time I was wondering if it was going to be over any faster than what it was going . To sum it up, don't see this unless you've read the book, are forced to by a younger relative or want to be bored for 88 minutes. Glad I didn't pay for this one!

I'm not a huge fan of kung-fu movies. I've never really seen a full one before. But with Jackie Chan and Jet Li it's gotta be good, right? wrong! This movie had about 15-20 minutes of coolness, the rest was extremely drawn out and boring. The plot was meaningless and insincere. There was also a pathetic attempt of an emotional scene, which was embarrassing just to watch.

Kick off movie of the summer, after last year's kick-off Spider-man 3, it wouldn't seem this could let us down in comparison; and it didn't. When you go to see action movies you expect there to be that one climactic part where you just think to yourself 'this is awesome!' although the final fight scene felt a bit lacking, it was great over-all, for a blockbuster. Considering most blockbusters are made just to get the mass audience and make as much money as possible, this film didn't try to do that as much, but instead offered a great cast and plot to go with it.

As far as comedies go no a days; good ones don;t come around that often, especially ones that appeal to most people. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is probably one of the only genuinely funny movies I've seen in my lifetime. Most funny movies are just stupid and only appeal for a while and are good to quote. This movie is different, as far as comedy goes I'd have to say I was laughing out loud on average every five minutes, which is really rare. The jokes are sincerely funny, not just out of idiocracy. As for the plot, it was actually pretty decent, it's unlike most where the ending is quite obvious.

I'd never actually seen the TV show, so for me this was all new. The plot seems a bit clustered and confused at the beginning, but the last 40 minutes or so were amazing and you simply can't beat the visual effects... although in 5 years I'll be laughing that I even said that.

The opinions are very mixed as far as the first Narnia movie goes, I'd have to say many had a negative outlook on it (including myself) the first film felt too long and less action than what seemed to be promised. This second wasn't a lot different, although it was a half hour longer it managed to entertain much better than the first. The lack of action or really much of anything was bothersome. It also was very PG and Disney, I haven't actually read the book but it probably was the same way. *SPOILER* such as the final fight scene between Prince Caspian's uncle and Peter; at the end of the fight he had the chance to brutally stab him, or kill him but instead he said "you can keep your life" I mean really?! Lame!

I mus admit it; as of now I haven't seen all of the old Indiana Jones movies, I've seen Raiders 2 or 3 times and Temple of Doom 2 times. Now I feel very compelled to go and watch them again along with Last Crusade. Of course this movie wasn't as good as the classics but I honestly believe this is the best movie they could achieve from the series and with the consideration of Harrison Ford's age. Also Shia LaBeouf did a pretty good job, I wouldn't say it was the most fitting role for him, but i couldn't imagine someone else playing the part. One last thing, though it was a great film, *SPOILER* seriously aliens?! That was a bit over the top.

For a March movie this was pretty good, though it seemed to lack real emotion. Not saying the actors didn't do a good job, it just felt that it was so emotion lacking, you just couldn't really feel what the characters were going through besides when Ben became angry at his teacher. Still watching worthy though.

Not exactly what I was expecting, I imagined there to be more emphasis on the making of the movies and more comeic value to it, it was still funny, just not what I had in mind. There was also an actual plot with meaning, which I also didn't have in mind, but it was well played out, considering it wasn't what i expected but was still satisfied with what I got.

Honestly, I have to say for a kids movie this actually wasn't that bad, unlike most which try to sell solely on cheap jokes. This actually had some meaning and actually was funny at times. Although for a movie overall it was weak, but I'll be fair and take the median rating of those.

Everyone argues this was "alright" or "good" because it's better than the first, I never saw the first one, but this was entirely lacking of dialog and structure. What was going on made sense, but without justification it left me laughing at how stupid it could be. The acting is also not-so-good a lot of the time, besides Edward Norton, who does a pretty good job, the rest goes from good to ridiculously stupid.

Although it was funny, with plenty of laughs, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't funnier. A bit generic, but with a twist of comedy, still worth seeing; especially for those who like Carrell.

This one's going to take some time to digest.

I felt this movie was lacking, lacking of an explanation, a logic, something to make it all fit together. Of course being a blockbuster it's mainly here for the action scenes...but even those were a bit disappointing
