A worthy sequel. Just as great as the first one. Action a plenty, humour galore. One great big thrill ride. Does not disappoint.

Absolutely wonderful. Something completely different than expected and it's all the better for it. Kidman is wonderful. I got swept up in the story and hope the trilogy can be completed on screen. Worth checking out.

A wonderful CG movie from Dreamworks. Who would have thought. Great bits of humour and a film that won't date. A very funny look into the world of bees.

Enchanted (2007,  PG)
Enchanted 5.0 Stars
Exceeded even my high expectations. It was such a joy to see hand drawn animation back on the big screen. The story is sweet, funny and very moving. The songs are superb. A great crowd pleaser. It truly earns the title of Enchnated as that's what it is.

The Kite Runner (2008,  PG-13)
The Kite Runner 4.0 Stars
A wonderfully presented film. Filled with lots of true emotion. Gives a really good view into the lives of people living in Afghanistan. A great story movie that doesn't rely on special effects or action to be compelling.

Sex and Death 101 (2007,  R)
Sex and Death 101 3.0 Stars
Not a bad dramedy. Is more dramatic than I anticipated. A unqiuely wierd concept propels the plot but is never satisfactorily explained. Simon Baker is great and it was good seeing Winona again. Worth checking out.

Fool's Gold (Fools Gold) 3.0 Stars
This wasn't an outstanding movie but it wasn't bad either. It wasn't as funny as I expected but it was a decent adventure romance flick. And it didn't drag on either. It was a good length and it's a good way to escape from reality for about 100 mintues.

A great retelling of the story. A totally fun family film. I would have liked a bit more humour aimed at adults, but as a whole I wasn't disappointed like I was with The Grinch.

A great thought provoking story. Will Smith is great. One of the great thrillers of recent times. I had no idea where it was heading or how it would end. Highly recommended.

I so wanted to enjoy this movie. Even with low expectations this movie did little for me. The story was not even compelling and the ending was truly unsatisfying. There were some good parts but overall it didn't manage to captiavate me when it should have.

Way way better than expected. The approach of it being will footage added to the suspense and curiosity. A more enjoyable trip than the similarly filmed Blair Witch. One of 2008's best thrillers.
