01-02-08 --this has to rank up in the top 5 of the "Best John Cusack Movies" list. Just a simple story about breakups and relationships. Top 5 Lists and the Meaning of Life "whats it all about?". Jack Black is hilarious.

01-04-08 --This movie starts off really fun, witty and semi-original but then halfway through the movie everything gets cliche and there isn't much you can look forward to but the end. Although it was cliche I still liked it and it does send across a good message to those compulsive liars out there. Lying doesn't make you cool, The truth shall set you free. If you missed the plot summary this is about a kid that tells lies to fit in and then one day all of his lies come true. This is the story of how he learns about the pitfalls of lying.

1-14-08 --Amazing & Witty! A story about a 16 year old girl faced with getting pregnant and the trials & tribulations of how she should handle it and how it affected her life. I love how witty and smart this film is. Love the one-liners. Very funny in parts. For an independent film this is an excellent one that is sweeping the nation in popularity. Well, it is good!

01-14-08 --Pretty darn good. Fantasy with Prince's & Witches & a whole bunch of magic. Travelling by candlelight is really cool! Robert DeNiro plays a Fairy... nope, not what you think. We had to stop in the middle of watching this movie. Joys of children. But I'm sure that It was even better when you watch it straight through.

01-16-08 --Wacky,Crazy,Funny! I needed a good laugh and this movie was the catalyst of giving me just that. There were so many "out of place" things that made this movie hilarious. I won't mention anything specific, I'll just give you a taste. For example Ebeneezer Scrooge makes a guest appearance! I think one of the funniest parts was when Bill Hader's character gives the fast food girl his name as "Voltron". And she's like why do you give me your name as Voltron? and he's like "cause it's super-bad-ass!". I was rollin'! Kind of like Napoleon Dynamite meets an Adam Sandler flick! Go see it.

01-18-08 --Suspensful and can be quite confusing at times. You really have to pay attention to everything that is going on. If there are distractions then you might as well stop it and come back to it later. Lindsay Lohan plays a non-stripping Stripper. and does she have a stigmatic twin??? I don't know what do you think? Acting was sub-par in parts but on the whole I thought it was decent. Enough plot twists to keep you guessing until the end. Also there was a lot of symbolism in this movie with the colors Blue & Red. Blue meaning 1st Place and Red meaning Runner up. Also, blue meaning calm, cool & collected and red meaning stressed, unrational, & rude.

01-19-08 --I can't believe this movie passed me up. Funny high schooler movie that has all the classic cliche date movie parts that make you wanna gag and also all the parts that make a movie decent. Original and entertaining and for that I'm amazed. All-star cast helps the movie tons. I would watch it again!

01-20-08 --All Time Classic!!! Kiefer Sutherland is awesome in this movie. It has a great cast and the plot is very interesting to follow. This movie suggests that once you die you atone for your sins before you move on to the afterlife. Seems viable. One thing... Joe the video camera guy never atoned for his sins. Maybe they left it open for a sequel? Never happened and most likely never will. Plus what's a movie without Kevin Bacon?

01-23-08 --Patrick Bateman is a shell of a man struggling with his urges to kill, kill, KILL. This is a very good look into the mind of a serial killer and the little things that can set one off. He is very meticulous and I find that very interesting. The one liners and quotes in this movie is fantastic. Me & Colby use to watch this movie quite a bit.

01-24-08 --Good, Long & Sad. It's just so messed up to see how people got married back in the 20's. You see a girl you like *boom!* your in love and your asking her to marry her. She's so thrilled and pressured by the parents she really doesn't have a choice. Then the marriage is full of unhappiness because they really don't have anything in common. Similar to what happens in the movie but instead of unhappiness they decide to surround themselves with Cholera. I don't want to give anything away but I will say this. If you don't allow yourself to love someone then you will forever be alone and unsatisfied. Ok, in all seriousness... This movie has 2 future Marvel Movie stars. Edward Norton - Incredible Hulk & Liev Schreiber - X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Naomi Watts' character was very frustrating in the beginning (stupidity) but gradually got better. (when she grew up).

01-25-08 --Jason Biggs in a wedding movie? Wow thats weird. huh. Anyway, this was probably one of his best next to the orignal American Pie movie. Suprisingly funny but not laugh out loud material. 2 people find each other and get married as total strangers what more can you ask? Hilarity is guaranteed.

01-26-08 --I found myself yelling (talking loudly) to the TV almost the whole time this movie was playing. It is that frustrating!!! I love Robin Williams but he could have passed on this one. It seems like they forced all of the plot points. For example: Plot - Chicken crossing a road. starts off there is not chicken nor a road but bamn a road crew comes in and builds a road and on that road drives a truck full of chickens. One of them falls out of the truck and lands on one side of the road. The chicken then proceeds to cross said road. Fini. Ok, this movie has no chickens or road construction crew but hopefully you understand my analogy. Mandy Moore's character is so uncharacteristic of someone that loves her "other" and totally ruins the film. Robin was funny. ... so was John Krasinski. I guess. So here is my tally: Robin = 1 star, 1/4 star goes to John K., 1/4 star goes to original idea of film (minus the wedding theme).

01-27-08 --Boring. Most of Kathleen Turners movies are boring to me so there was no big suprise. This is a story of a mother that loses it and starts killing people like crazy. She does it with no regard of if she's going to be caught and she's very sloppy about it. So in the regards of being a serial killer she is very bad at it. Very unbelievable movie. So crazy they want you to think that The kids that like the "rock" music think that serial killers are cool. ridiculous.

01-27-08 --Very cool. These type of movies hardly ever disappoint me in terms of entertainment value. I did spend the whole movie trying to figure out the voice of "Big Z" and then in the final 5 minutes it hit me... Jeff Bridges!!! A lot of talented voice talent here folks. Jeff Bridges probably did the best acting in my opinion and shia Lebouf was really good with the ad libbing. You can really tell that they all did the voices in the same room. Not once did I think of the rival Penguin movie "Happy Feet". That's gotta say somethin' right? Very good.

01-28-08 --If you were to take one of those humphrey bogart movies and update them then you would have this movie. Set in the 50's. Its really nice to see James Gandolphini in a movie. Like him as an actor. Jared Leto plays a balding co-murderer and Mr. Travolta is the ace dic!

01-29-08 --What would you do if you had to spend 30 million dollars in 30 days without anything to show for it when it was over? Well, you'll find yourself asking... yourself this very question. Loved this movie as a kid and though it is dated and very 80's I still love it and can watch it again, and again.

02-01-08 --This is not only a classic basketball movie it has a great soundtrack at that! Tupac plays "Birdie" and yes he is crazy. It's a good story about handling pressure and following through on your shot.

02-02-08 --Mermaids is one of those movies that talk about "unconventional" families. This is definately one of those different type of families that are oh so common in the US. The oldest daughter (Winona) is disillusioned by religion and the youngest daughter just wants to be an Olympic level swimmer. Both don't know their fathers. The mother is so concerned with not being committed to a relationship that it affects the whole family. Everyone has to settle down sometime. By the way I have to say every time I see Bob Hoskins I can only think of Roger Rabbit. Chick Flick but a worthy watch.

02-05-08 --A Trip! You can say that this movie is like a bunch of video's made from old Beatles songs and spliced together with acting in between. That about sums it up. This is set in a time during the vietnam war so the times are a changin'. And with change comes political uprise... or something. Acting was good but you have to pay very close attention or you will be totally lost and the movie will suck. Keep your thinking hat on... your gonna need it!

02-06-08 --Usually love these spoof movies but this one seemed really watered down and not really that funny. Jayma Mays tries to play a character that is too close to the Anna Farris character in the Scream movies and it was really distracting for me. Adam Campbell was not funny and Faune Chambers didn't add anything to the movie at all. Kal Penn was allright but his character was dumb. It would have been better if they didn't centralize the plot around the Narnia movie. I thought there were other movies they could have spoofed. Willy Wonka was pretty creepy but Crispin Glover is creepy just being himself so... This one could have gotten a golden ticket but came up short.

02-07-08 --Its just like watching a home video of a natural disaster. But this disaster would be considered un-natural. They got a lot of flack for the movie being so jumpy and I don't disagree but it wasn't that bothersome. Maybe if I saw it in a theatre then I would think so. I did have problems with not really knowing what was going on through the whole movie. Even after I watched it I still don't really know what that "thing" was or where it came from. Did they kill it? I don't know. Everything was so vague It was hard to watch at times. Maybe a sequel will shed some light on the events of this video.

02-08-08 --Good Flick! Gotta love Harrison Ford. Not much of a stretch for him to play a pilot. Not only a pilot but the "best". I bet he could make the Kessel run under 4 parsecs. Anyway, this is a movie about being stranded on a deserted isle and the emotions that come with it. David Schwimmer's character is A+ annoying... not much of a stretch for him either. The only stretch was Anne Heche's character playing a straight woman. Which now in fact she is riding the bony pony to work everyday. :)

02-09-08 --Brad Pitt was awesome as Jesse James. I think he was a bit too tall for the role but everything else was right on the mark. This movie has a lot of info so be prepared to pay attention if you know very little about the exploits of The James Gang. Shoot, I thought I knew a lot and it was obvious that after I watched this movie I knew very little. Being related to Mr. James by a long lineage I kinda felt connected to this movie. Hell, I'm sure everyone is related to someone if you go far back enough. The picture of Jesse James in the end has always gave me the willy's so needless to say after the movie wrapped I was feeling a little bit creeped out. It was Good anyway.

02-12-08 --This is a very strange movie. Interesting but strange. Two couples flirt with the idea of leaving their significant other while a child molestor lives down the street. Their lives are separate but they have an indirect effect on each other. In the end "Children" bring every body back to their senses. Nudity alert: Kate Winslet - Boobs.

02-14-08 --Ok guys get ready for another chick flick! I will say that at least this chick flick was set in an original place. Not being New York but as in a restraunt with 2 top chef's. Everything else was pretty transparent and you knew how it was all going to come together in the end probably within the first 15 minutes. Catherine Zeta-Jones' character had no parenting skills whatsoever and what do you know Aaron Eckhart comes along and loostens her up and bamn she turns into a caring person. It's amazing what sex does to a person. I should say "assumed sex" because it was never addressed. Anyway, it wasn't a horrible movie. It ended with a good happy feeling and that's all that matters sometimes.

02-17-08 --Wasn't there a Seinfeld episode dealing with this issue? Anyway, I guess it is somewhat original. Although it is simple and constantly focusing on how he can't handle Not having sex. It gets kinda old but then towards the end the amount of boobs makes up for the boreing-ness. By the way if someone is climbing on top of you while you are asleep you will/should wake up fairly quickly. That was BS in my book. --sidenote-- we watched this on VHS and Damn! I can't believe I use to watch all my movies that way. Sound was horrible and picture wasn't clear the colors were all drab. It was crap. Thank god for DVDs.

02-17-08 --2 divorce lawyers that are total opposites constantly find themselves facing each other. He's in love with her and she doesn't believe in love. She's hardened by the "system". He tries really hard I give him that. This is an "allright" movie. Nothing too horrible to go off on.

02-18-08 --Thirteen days... I didn't know it would take that long to watch it! This movie would have at least been 3 1/2 stars if the movie wasn't so long. Just because it has JFK in it doesn't mean that it has to be as long as the movie JFK. Anyway, Kevin Costners accent was a little "out of place" and maybe even "forced". But it didn't detract from the movie after you got use to it. The person that played JFK was good and so was the person that played Bobby. Very interesting to see what could have happened if someone else was in charge. Good movie for you history buffs! Or you JFK fans out there.

02-23-08 --Every time I watch it... Awesome! It was great how they brought in the "old" ghost rider from the golden age. Nicolas and Eva played great. Good, Good Movie! The extended cut DVD is awesome! Didn't really change the movie in terms of pace or feeling it just has good bonus features.

02-24-08 --They really didn't care about the Apollo 13 until they had problems and then the press was eating it up. Even though they didn't touch the moon it was a significant attempt in NASA history. This is the first movie I thought Tom Hanks could really make it as a serious actor. This is an excellent movie. The amount of stars in it helps.

02-24-08 --Acting is horrible and plot is alittle thin and some things I wonder really would happen. Like all the people walking around zombies is just one thing I question. This movie was filmed right here in Lawrence, KS. Steve Guttenberg and Jason Robards... oh and John Lithgow. Wow what a cast! (sarcastic tone) This was allright just an old movie. The Lawrence, KS thing is the only thing interesting really about this movie.

02-25-08 --John Cusack is one of my favorite actors and he never seems to disappoint. Tiffany said it best "it takes a special person to adopt a child". I agree. I don't know if I could do it but David (J.Cusack) and this kid was meant for each other. Reminiscent of the movie K-Pax but better I think. This movie is more heartfelt and is written very well. The child actor (Bobby Coleman) did a fabulous job. Good movie.

02-26-08 --Awesome! Adam Sandler always has good heartfelt movies and this is definately heartfelt. Tuggin at your heartstrings. Great concept and idea for a movie.

02-26-08 --Hitch allows guy's to learn how to "not be nervous" and what things women want. He helps guys fall in love. He is the Teacher until he is the one that falls in love. Good movie.

02-27-08 --Totally didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was. A woman and her daughter are drifters drifting their way from town to town. Because that is what the woman's mother did so that is what she knew. Anyway, along with them they bring chocolate and prove to people that bliss and pleasure can cure anything. Even uptight religious freaks like the ones in this movie! Well, the chocolate goes and ... whoops you almost got me to tell you the ending! Go see it you find that it is worth a taste.

02-29-08 --A movie that combines nursery tales, disney movies, and old folk tale into one whopping adventure. I guess its suppose to be an origin story for those... stories. And all stories have parts that were left out for one reason or another. The graphics were so so. I didn't like the wolf and his transformation. I thought they could have done better. And there were parts that I got bored with. They could have done more with the sleeping Queen. Its allright but not great.

03-02-08 --High School football is emotional and tough but I don't remember it being so dramatic. Oh yeah, its Hollywood. They didn't get the uniforms and equipment right for being in the late 80's. Everything was too new. Decent movie about how a football town can take over everyones life and get this IT IS based on a true story. It also goes to show that not everyone is "good" at football is going to make a career out of it. Heck they might not even go on to college to play.

03-02-08 --Funnier than I expected. I knew it was going to be good because well, it's the Simpsons. I didn't expect the "adult humor" throughout the movie but I didn't have a problem with it. I was wondering how they were going to get a full length movie out of the whole thing but they did it and I was very satisfied with the results. Growing up with the Simpson's made me really appreciate them finally doing a movie that was well overdue!

03-02-08 --Steve Martin plays a x-mobster placed in witness protection in the Burbs and trys to cope with having friends like Rick Moranis. Very good movie. Watched it many times.

03-04-08 --Toys that come to life. Wow, I always dreamed about that as a kid. I thought all my toys would come to life and have meetings and stuff. Well the kid (Andy) gets a new toy for his birthday and (Woody - the cowboy) feels obsolete. That's pretty much the whole story. About how the two can co-exist in the same bedroom.

11-09-08 --Same toys different day. Woody runs into a "toy collector" and finds out that he is a part of a "set". These other toys try to convince him that being in the musuem is better than being a children's toy that will eventually be stuck in a box forever. In the meantime Buzz and co. try to rescue Woody while finding out Buzz Lightyear's true Father! Good one.

03-05-08 --The voice talent on this movie is just awesome. Bruce Willis and Steve Carell and Gary Shandling are brilliant together. Great story and wonderful animation. I could watch this movie over and over and I catch little things each time.

03-06-08 --This movie is the reason Disney has gotten so much crap for they're sequels of late. Ok, Simba has a daughter and fall for Scar's son. Blah, Blah, Blah! Script was written by a two year old and it was so predictable and hardly any change ups. Lion King 1 1/2 was way better. Straight to DVD. Good Call.

03-07-08 --Even worse than Lion King 2. This movie just isn't the same without Robin Williams. He makes the movie. Jason Alexander and Gilbert Gottfried is the only redeeming light but unfortunately its like one of those Key Lights.

03-07-08 --A look at love and the many forms it may take to approach us. Some have love for women some for men. Some have Lust and mistake it for love only to find real true love later on. Some have love for humanity and then there are those that have to love so hard because they're time together is so short. Gotta Love Morgan Freeman's performance. There I said love 7 times and that constitutes a feast. Oh by the way this nothing to do with eating or those that love to eat. Dang it! 8 times. Frontal nudity.

03-09-08 --A Wes Anderson Classic! He always has a lot of the same actors in his movies as with this one. I loved it! 3 brothers that aren't that close go on a religious "self" finding trip through India. They are convinced that they're mother needs to be saved. At least one of them is anyway. The Death of they're father has the whole family screwed up. I won't tell you how they resolve their major issues but I will say that it is an interesting ride.

03-09-08 --What would happen if they reinstated the draft? Well, for three different people that just happen to be friends we get to take a peek into how they would react. I thought this movie was boring and uneventfull. It was all about personal conflict and nothing else. Which isn't bad if that is what you were expecting to see. The always popular issue of "we shouldn't be over there" is a heavy overtone in this movie. Elijah Wood still looks like a freakin' Hobbit!

03-09-08 --A twisting thriller ride of a story about the effects of Anesthesia. Or is it? Oh, and some people looking to decieve and/or kill to get what they want. Hayden Christensen has definately proven himself as a good actor as of late. I definately wasn't ready for the ending but when I came I wasn't excited about the outcome but I didn't have to wake myself up we'll say that. Thriller to the end. Jessica Alba and Terrance Howard also did an excellent job.

03-10-08 --A story about a athlete that doesn't know the meaning of "team". Well that all changes in expected fashion as this once pro-athlete goes back to try it again 9 years after he retired to chase a record that will definately put him in the hall of fame. But what is more important, Stats/Records or Team Accomplishments?

03-13-08 --Gotta Love Spongebob. Now that I watch Spongebob regulary on tv with Maddie. I have gained a new hankerin' for some cartoon's. Spongebob is funny to more than the child audience. There is a lot of "hidden" jokes that kids just don't get. This movie is just one long episode. It's pretty darn good!

03-14-08 --A zebra that thinks he's a racehorse. Oh How Disney! Even though this isn't a Disney film. I thought this movie may be animated but no. All live action animal speaking fun. Kinda like Milo & Otis but with horses and stuff. It was allright as far as children movies go.

03-16-08 --Excellent! Based on a theory of Mr. Walt Disney himself. "Keep Moving Forward". A young inventor that has the nack for blowing up his inventions begins to doubt himself when someone shows up from the future and convinces him that he "must" keep moving forward and great things will happen.

03-16-08 --Great movie about believing in yourself. That's a very basic telling of the story but there are many, many different things one can learn from this movie. You'll have to take this here block of wood and once you understand how good this movie is the block will do the rest.

03-19-08 --It's like they took a page out of my diary or something to make this movie. That is what got me hooked and I kept watching because it was hilarious. Zach Braff did a great job as well as Jason Bateman. Welcome back Mr. Bateman.

03-19-08 --I can't believe this movie got made. First of all Kim Basinger isn't that great of an actress to begin with but she was pretty darn bad here. Brad Pitt was awful. He tried using an accent and just didn't pull it off. I guess working with cartoons was hard to do in the mid-ninety's. It's like the writers were all sitting around and was like we need a movie like "who framed roger rabbit" but with more "adult" overtones. and then the pervert of the group is like "and Boobs!" but they didn't show any boobs they just gave you the cartoon-ie hint of the boobs. AND the cartoons were horrible. They were always like hitting each other and stuff like if it were an Itchy & Scratchy cartoon but less funny.

03-22-08 --Will Smith is Excellent as usual. Put this man in a movie all by himself and he still has enough personality and acting skills to keep you entertained and enthralled. What if you where the last man on Earth? Well, you would have access to anything your heart desired up until 6pm anyway. I won't sit here and review the movie because its really good anyway and I don't want to give anything away. The trailers do enough. Go watch a trailer! then go see the movie! Better yet... just go see the movie.

02-23-08 --a very poor example of the life of Jimi Hendrix. The acting was allright but there wasn't any real story behind the movie. Plus hardly any of his "good" songs were in the movie...

03-26-08 --Pixar never disapoints me. Ever. Great movie about a rat that wants more than just eating garbage. He wants to create and experiment with foods and to also become a Chef. Sound crazy? Yes, but very entertaining and heartfelt.

03-27-08 --I don't know why it took me so long to see this movie but when I finally did I was kicking myself for not watching it sooner. Jerry Seinfeld did great and Dreamworks is almost as definate as Pixar when talking good movies. Story: A Bee that doesn't want to work in One job the rest of his Bee life sets out to change all that. Does He? You better go see it.

04-06-08 -- Imagine your worst enemy engaged to your mom. Well, it's sorta like that. Mr. Woodcock put this kid through all this pain & shame and later on in life he's back in his life in a big way. It frustrated me on how John Farley wouldn't just call him out to his mother right away. But it all worked out in the end. Its nice to see Sean Michael Scott in a comedy other than "Stiffler".

04-06-08 -- This movie is different. I guess that's good but I can't say that I enjoyed it a whole bunch. It was entertaining and I watched it all the way through. Nell is a girl that grew up away from civilization. Her mother died and left her to fend for herself. I think she had a bit of Autism but wasn't really sure. Liam's character was there to nurture her back to reality but she didn't really want his reality. She had her own language and you'll find yourself muttering her crazy words after the movie is over.

04-10-08 --If you liked the Matrix trilogy then you should check this out. 9 short animated stories about people before the films began. Definately interesting to see. It would have been nice to see more of the main characters and their stories with this collection. Cool anyways.

04-12-08 --A Chevy Chase Classic! With his different characters and quick wit I don't understand why this movie isn't seen as one of his best. It has intrigue, romance, humor & a water buffalo reference... what more do you need?

04-13-08 -- This movie looked too silly when I first learned about it. I passed on it and normally I was wrong about it. It is very humorous and it has a lot of heart. For two people that aren't in many quote on quote comedies Greg & Matt did very well. Many things stand out but you'll have to see it to understand.

04-27-08 --To begin with... I'm instituting my new ratings system with this movie. It includes Acting, Script, Theme (plot), Cinematography & Soundtrack (or sounds of the movie). This one got a whopping 3 1/2 stars. So, maybe my ratings will go up from here.
It wasn't a bad movie. It deserves the stars it got. It really keeps you glued to the movie and it really brings up a "what would you do?" type of situation. I thought that made the movie very engaging. Wasn't thrilled with the ending but hey maybe I'll start a new rating systems later on. Decent movie.

05-03-08 -- Jack Black & Ben Stiller... its exactly what you think. Uncomfortably funny. I mean you got Jack Black's "crazy fat guy" funny and you got Ben Stiller's "how did I get into this situation" type of funny. Envy explores what would happen if you passed on your best friends idea/invention and he made millions of dollars only for you to watch him spend it... insanely. Christopher Walkens appearance in the movie was definately a well added chemistry mix. Love the Walken "serious" funny guy thing.

05-04-08 --It's funny how that Disney can make a movie that is so predictable and has been done a million times but still can pull on your heart strings trying to get a tear out of ya. This movie HAS been done a million times but yet seemed to keep me engaged and watching. Selfish person finds out he has a kid - The kid makes him less selfish - Meets a woman that helps him with the kid - He becomes a better person - He is faced with not having the kid - Then he gets the kid. Its been done sooooo many times. The Rock was really darn good though I give him that. I mean there were times when I was like eww! but on the whole he did great. Great job casting the girl. very cute and manipulative. You've seen the story before but it pays to watch this version of a cookie cutter movie.

5-11-08 --If you would like to watch a movie that will make you cry then this be the one! Even if your all tough and stuff and refuse to cry it will make you teary eyed at least. I didn't cry... I got teary eyed. ... Well, this movie tugs on every heart string you have when dealing with your significant other dying. The character (that died) really thought out his passing and left his spouse a reason to move on. Well thought out movie.

05-24-08 --You know what drew me to this movie? A damn laughing shark that just didn't quit. That sounds pretty pathetic but it was hilarious in the trailer. One of the few "Happy Madison" films that I didn't completely enjoy. I think they tried too hard to be funny. Although there were some really good hilarious parts but on the whole it was "ho hum...". Jonah Hill - funny, Justin Long - funny, Allen Covert - funny, Peter Dante - tried too hard to be like his "Grandma Boy"'s character (minus the weed addiction). and finally Steve Zahn - weak and not that funny to me. Better luck next time Mr. Sandler.

05-25-08 --If you've seen the first one then the second really doesn't have that much to offer. It's pretty much the same thing but in this situation he is trying to clear his ancestor's name. Also his mother gets involved and ... well that's it. I mean, it was entertaining to a point but I kept thinking to myself. "it feels like I've seen this before".

05-25-08 --The idea of a killer that broadcasts his kills depending on how many people visit the site is truly a scary thought. The reason why the killer is doing it. Kinda lame. The main character ... kinda boring. I want to know how to get my hands on the computers they were all using. They kicked ass. Just really fast processors... something I know nothing about.

5-26-08 --A mixmash of people and their F'd up lives in Hollywood as actors/writers and anyone that surrounds them. I thought this movie would be better considering the amount of "good" actors in it. I was confused and frustrated with the cinematography and nothing made sense. boo!

05-26-08 --If you were blind and you had the chance to see for the first time in your life wouldn't you take that chance? People that were born blind or went blind at a young age they don't know anything else so, yeah its a hard transition. I wish they would have written in a little more understanding of that fact in this movie. Other than that good love story.

06-01-08 -- Anna Farris plays a stoner so convincing I had the munchies after watching this movie. Some parts are dumb but mostly funny as hell. This story is all about one day in a stoner's life. The semi-stoner becomes the mega-stoner. Very good "nerdy" performance from John Krasinski as well.

06-08-08 --Can Will Ferrell do any wrong? A story that documents "loosely" the absorbtion of the ABA into the NBA and the cooky things they did to get fans before that merger. A lot of people don't know of what went on in the ABA and you might think that a lot of this was from the "mind of Will Ferrell". But it wasn't. They did crazy stuff like having their cheerleaders in Bikini's and Corndog night to get people in the doors and to pretty much attract attention. Good story with heart and lots of funny!

06-14-08 --Sad Movie. I should have seen this coming with the trailer and everything but, it was definately sadder than I was expecting. It was great to see Jack & Morgan on the screen together playing two old farts. Because they actually have become two old farts. The Bucket List: a list you make of things that you want to do before you "kick the bucket". That right there should tell you that your in for the emotional string pulling ride.

06-15-08 - Ok, this whole movie should have been like 30 minutes MAX. They stretched and stretched all they could to get a decent length out of this thing. I mean, it was 300 but with spoofs during the whole thing. It was corny funny and a constant Male Gayness theme running throughout but then again there were straight up retarded scenes as well. Like the Transformer scene and the Spider-Man scene. Dumb Funny.

06-15-08 --I was pleasantly suprised with this movie. I'm not a Ed Burns fan but I'm slowly turning a corner. It was weird at first watching Angelina parade around with Blonder than Blonde hair. This movie reminded me of that one movie with Robert Redford and Michelle Phifer and they are they are news casters but this movie has a way lighter mood and a nice little "science fiction"y twist. Kind of. Not really but I don't know what else to call it. "phenomenon"y maybe?

06-22-08 --I really felt for the main character in this movie (Jeff Bridges). I mean he was at a point in his life where he just didn't know what to do and where to go from there. He just wanted to have money and a life that he can be proud of so that he doesn't feel ashamed when he is with his son. What better way than to attempt to make a porno. Good flick!

06-22-08 --This is like "Sweet Home Alabama" but it is like the R&B Remix. No, seriously the idea has been used before but it isn't that noticeable because the characters in this movie make it so entertaining you forget that you know what's going to happen already. This is Martin Lawrence's best lead role in acouple years. I'm thinking since "Blue Streak" or "Life" but I could be wrong. Mike Epps is hilarious and had me rolling. Not to mention the whole cast.

06-29-08 --I had forgotten that I saw this at a younger age. It's easy to do when you look at how many Star Trek Movies there are. I mean they are filming Star Trek 11 right now. So, this one starts them off. I haven't seen the final episode of the TV series but this movie makes me want to see what I missed. It is long and a lot of Special Effect scenes that I'm sure were miraculous back in the day but you can tell they did it on purpose. Like long drawn out scenes of the Enterprise at Dock and stuff. Alittle cheesy. The Decker character = very annoying. He's better as a preacher playing alongside a bunch a kids in 7th Heaven. In all this movie brought back a lot of memories and I enjoyed it.

07-05-08 --Crazy Stupid fun. I couldn't help but be reminded of Dumb & Dumber. These guys are that "slow". They need to have a kid to supposedly save their father and they go about it the only way they know how. These two learn what it takes to be a father. Do they get it? Well, you'll have to see it.

07-06-08 --I would love to be Owen Wilson's agent for one day. Then I might get him a part that he can show off some great acting ability. This movie isn't much of a stretch for Mr. Wilson but it is still entertaining and funny... a bit predictable but still funny.

07-09-08 --A collection of short stories that have a little bit to do with Batman. A bit reminiscent of "The Ani-matrix". This movie supposedly leaves off where Batman Begins ended. Sortof. It jumped around so much and the story's weren't "that" compelling. I found myself bored with it at times. I was suprised with the amount of violence and blood in this movie though. Coming away from this movie you would think you might have more of an insight on the Batman Begins character but all you find out really is that ... oops I almost gave it away. If your that interested you should watch it.

07-13-08 --Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johnasson together on film are magnificent! Natalie proves how good of an actress she is by playing "The Other Boleyn Girl" or is it Scarlett that plays the part of the "other" Bolelyn Girl. Anyway, they both compete for the affection of King Henry VIII. Second verse same as the first!!! I'm guessing that this is based on true events. I can't be for sure. It is somewhat dry towards the beginning and it picks up the further you get. It's just a shame how people acted back then.

07-13-08 --John Cusack is very good in this movie. I mean he plays such a different chacter that its hard for you to think of him as John Cusack. He totally immersed himself in the role to the point you really think he is this Husband. Very sad movie with a very thin plot. A lot of "reactions" and long drawn out "feelings". Grace is gone and they made a movie about the husband not being able to tell they're children this such fact.

07-14-08 --Jack Nicholson in his prime. Maybe this was before his prime. I saw this once as a child but only remembered bits and pieces. Now that I've seen it recently I can honestly say that this is a good movie. Didn't like the ending too much and it did give me a creepy feeling (like when I was younger) but I think that mainly has to do with the music and the ending combined. Jack plays a good crazy person and they had other "crazies" that fit the part too. Christopher Lloyd, that long faced guy, Danny Devito and other lesser stars. Scatman Crothers that played the voice of "Jazz" from The Transformers cartoon (80's) makes an appearance as a night orderly.

07-16-08 --One of the first of its kind for Dreamworks. They proved they could do what Pixar did with Toy Story. But this would have more of an adult humor "hidden" for the older audience. You can definately tell that the technology has gotten better from this movie but in order to appreciate the later films its always good to know where they started off. Plus Maddie loves this movie.

07-18-08 --I really wish I could have rated this higher but I just couldn't. I really liked Gene Hackman in this role. It showed me a side of his acting talents I've never seen before. Aside from the racist comment he makes in the movie... The soundtrack was creepy, there was too much "following him", "trailing him", "chasing this guy" "tailing that guy", stakeouts and long drawn out chase scenes. Although the car and the subway chase scene was pretty cool. With all of the extra waiting to "catch" the bad guy I really didn't like the ending of this movie. I guess that is why there was a sequel. That I will in fact have to watch now. It's hard to believe that this movie won an Oscar. Based on what? really!? Gene Hackman made this movie.

07-25-08 --I really wish they would re-make this film. They really didn't do anything special with Supergirl in this movie. Although it was '84. One year after Superman 3 so, you know Warner Bros. was like smoking something bad back then. I mean when she got to earth she knew Clark Kent and who Superman was and never any mention of Kal-El. The writing was so dumb because they put stuff in that was never explained. You know people just suddenly knew stuff. Remake Please!!!

08-02-08 --About as funny as you would expect it to be. I think at times it trys too hard to be funny and comes up short. Walk Hard is a spoof on all of those bio movies on rock stars/singers. Like Ray, Walk the line, Elvis and others I'm sure I missed. My favorite part had to be the Beatles appearance all played by Justin Long, Jack Black, Jason Swartzman, & Paul Rudd. Awesome.

08-03-08 --Have you ever wanted to watch two similar movies at the same time? Well now is your chance and don't let it pass you by!!! This movie can be confusing if you let it. I wasn't confused but I felt that if I didn't pay close enough attention then I would. This is a "what if" story that splits up into two plot lines and goes that way until the finish. Decent story. Gwyneth was good as usual. Thick accent but good.

08-09-08 --If you are wanting to learn to count cards you could watch this movie but it would be easier to find another way. Google it! Anyway this is a story about Ben. Ben is a genius. Ben Has a future. Ben meets a girl. Ben makes money fast. And Ben is corrupted. Find out who the heck Ben is and how he counts his way out of trouble.

08-24-08 --What seems to be a smartly made movie just turns out to be a murder mystery with a bunch of twists to keep you watching. It was a good movie now don't get me wrong. Sandra Bullock was ok Ryan Gosling was better. By genre this may be a must see for some people.

08-30-08 --This is my favorite James Belushi movie. I don't really know why. I'm guessing because of the fantasy aspect of being able to see what your life would have been like if you would have done ONE thing differently. Very Cool

08-31-08 --Ok this was kinda predictable and so so. It wasn't bad to watch though. Ashton and Cameron where a joy to watch together.. Even though I never bought the fact that they would be together. Maybe that was the point. 2 strangers hook up in vegas and get married when they wake up the next morning they talk about it while playing some coin slots. They win big but they have to stay married to keep it. ...unless one of them shows inloyalty or leaves the marriage.

08-31-08 --Even though this movie wasn't directed by Tim Burton it is still such a Burton/Ricci movie. Maybe a little lighter than any Burton creation but still remeniscent. This movie seemed like it went fast. Not much happens. Pretty much everything you see in the trailer but "extended". Definately a good watch.

09-01-08 --Aaron Eckhart was very convincing. Even though you can see his fake belly. A story about a guy that gets stepped on and gets pushed aside all the time just because he's doing what he thinks he has to do in life. Make money and keep up with expectations. Until he meets a teenage boy that gives him new perspective. I could relate to the character a few times but this guy's life really sucks! "You apologize!, You apologize!". There are funny moments as there are sad. There are frustrating moments as there are relief moments. Good movie.

09-02-08 --Marvel Animated projects are really coming into their own. They really prove it here with Next Avengers. I wasn't sure how this was going to be because of the whole Kid Aspect of it and they really nailed it. It is a whole new concept and story. It isn't from any comic source material but it felt like something from a "Runaways" or "New X-Men", "Avengers - Initiative" even. The children of the Avengers are hidden from Ultron after he defeats them and they fall. Tony Stark is the only one left and he raises them to be the ... yep you got it "The Next Avengers". It wasn't too "kiddy" and it had a decent amount of Marvel mythology. It was more like a "what if?!" issue or separate 4-issue edition but as a movie. Ultron was a nice choice of Villain. Originally created by Henry Pym he is always coming back in some way to destroy the Avengers and take over everything. Good Job marvel! Keep em comin!

09-14-08 --A story about a writer that gets kidnapped by a psychotic fan and ends up staying a while. Kathy Bates is very freaky in this movie. Not, one of those typical "scary" movies from Stephen King just "thriller" material.

09-14-08 --A deadly strain of "new" virus breaks out and Dustin Hoffman is off to find the host. Will he make it in time before the President orders a small town of 2,600 to be executed? I guess you'll have to ask Morgan Freeman, Renee Russo, Kevin Spacy,Patrick Dempsey or even Cuba Gooding Jr. to find out.

09-18-08 --More of a Green Lantern origin story but still a good movie. I was suprised at the blood and violence that was in this movie. Wonder Woman and Superman kinda took a back seat as well as Batman. Aquaman even made an appearance even though he was a part of the original 7. There isn't much you can do with Aquaman but there was water around. Anyway, this is probably DC's best effort in Animated Movies thus far. Better than Superman: Doomsday.

9-21-08 --Allright, I actually enjoyed this movie. I thought it was just another chick flick and wow I was suprised. It's more of a chick flick from a guys point of view so, would you call that a Mack Flick? Anyway, Patrick Dempsey hasn't been in a decent movie since "Can't buy me love" so, there ya go.

9-23-08 --If all the Austin Powers movies had a specific formula that they followed when making those movies then "The Love Guru" followed that formula to the T. I'm not saying that it was just like watching a Austin Powers movie, all that I'm saying is that it was similar jokes, style and presentation, and characters. But everything else was pretty original. Hilarious in parts and if you like Mike Myers then you'll love it.

10-5-08 -- Slow paced in the beginning but it eventually picks up. Not one of your most scariest movies but it will have you clutching your seat in places. If you see this movie it will only want to make you watch the sequels.

10-12-08 --Horribly bad but so entertaining at the same time. It's funny how it is able to be such a bad movie but yet keep you watching it just to see what else is going to happen. Not to mention the All-star cast (by accident). Matthew Fox, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, even Matthew Maconaghey makes a brief 3 second appearance. Quick synopsis. Boy loves girl. Girl doesn't know boy exists. Boy dies protecting girl. Boy asks girl to prom. Not to mention boy is still dead. Funny.

10-12-08 --Not too scary but the acting is sure frightening. The reasoning in this movie is short of believable. It could have been the acting but who knows. I was looking for scary and all I got was boring. The best part of the movie was the last 10 minutes of it. And what the heck was that red glowing stuff? Was that suppose to be the devil. Very poorly done.

10-19-08 --As old as this movie is, it is still fun to watch. It's funny how stoner the parents are and how they act while they have the poltergeist at first. You know, we just don't go in "that" room anymore. It's a classic!

10-19-08 --This movie goes down as a classic Adam Sandler/Happy Madison Movie. It will leave you feeling good, happy and all tingly when you are finished watching it. ALOT of guest bit parts. That's fun to watch. Mariah Carey can't act if her life depended on it. (bit part) Henry Winkler does great at puking. Adam Sandler's ass makes a cameo as well. Speaking of Adam's body parts. His penis should have been in the credits because it pretty much had a dominant role in this movie. Watch & See.

10-26-08 --Chalk one up to Wes Craven and his idea of "scary". This movie definately is not. Somewhat comedic in parts. I thought this movie was very corny and I've heard that there is going to be a sequel out in 2010. Now, that I might see. But, if it's anything like this one then maybe count me out.

10-26-08 --A story about a Mother and her daughter and how held secrets can screw everyone's life up. Southerners huh. Can't figure them out. Sandra Bullock and cast did really great job. I'd be lying if I said that it didn't tear me up once.

10-26-08 --Very corny and cheesy but a slice of childhood none the less. Not scary. Hardly. It's just about a man looking for his son that this house took from him. cut and dry... Now House II alittle more complicated.

10-27-08 --The fight scenes were INSANE!!! A lot of action in this movie. This will make you forget all about the 2003 Hulk directed by Ang Lee. There is so much for feeling, emotion and character displayed by the Hulk and it helps that Edward Norton is such a good actor. It was reminiscent to the TV series but not so noticeable that it distracted you. Because I loved the TV series and all but it was kinda corny. This movie is going to be tied in to the Avengers movie coming out tentatively 2011. Also, there were a lot of nods to the Captain America movie as well (2011). Tony Stark makes an appearance. You knew that though if you saw the TV Spot. A villain that I won't name is introduced most likely for a sequel. You'll have to figure that one out yourself. Nothing bad at all about this movie. 2 homeruns for Marvel in ONE summer... not bad. Not bad at all.

11-2-08 --A decent story about a woman trying to find a relationship that sustains and she can find her "happy ending". A bit foolish sometimes but trying. She finds the one and starts anew.

11-3-08 - I didn't like much about this movie. It's just the fact that they took the main character "over the top". Too much. I mean, she is REALLY stupid in this movie. She wasn't as clumsy and dumbfounded as she was in the first movie. Plus, her reasoning is completely off the wall and they base the whole movie off of these irrational ludacris actions that she takes because of her insecurities. The british accent and the extra weight didn't help either.

11-09-08 -- Jack Black & Mos Def were pretty darn good together. Mos Def has already proven to me that he is a very good actor but I am always skeptical. Great idea for a movie. A movie about making your own movies. Brilliant! Reminds me of the time I filmed the first 10 minutes of Happy Gilmore with Lego's. I can see why the movies were only 20 minutes long!

11-16-08 --Destined to be a Halloween classic... sort of. Maddie sat all the way through this one. I was suprised. Now, it is something when the director gets his wishlist of actors to actually be in the movie. This movie is filled with top actors and it makes the movie that much better. Even though the children was a little annoying especially "Chowder". Little bit. On the whole good animated flick for the family.

11-16-08 --If your looking for a good thriller with many twists and turns then this is it. Hugh Jackman & Ewan MacGregor are awesome! Ewan did a really good job changing up his appearance not only in looks but the way he acted as well. Hugh played a great "bad" guy. Or is he a bad guy? Hmmm... Movie Comparison: I thought it reminded me of "Derailed". sort of.

11-16-08 --Great family movie. Its been a long time coming for these 3 chipmunks to make the live action big screen. Even though Jason Lee's performance wasn't quite up to my standards everything was allright. I mean Maddie loved all the singin' and dancin' so who am I to complain!

11-22-08 --Tim Allen IS Santa Clause or so we are to believe. Classic holiday film that you have to watch every year. If not every year at least once out of 3 years. It gives great thought into the idea of what Santa Clause would be and should be. Also, it helps answer those tough questions like "how does Santa get down a chimney when there is no chimney?" yes... study it, learn it, you will be quizzed by your child.

11-22-08 --Just as great as the first. I really can't say which one is better. They are honestly equal in their own ways. Yeah we do get to delve into the Hellboy characters even deeper and there's that Love angle that we've already explored in the first movie but this is more than that. Hellboy strives to be well liked by the public and wants everyone to love him. When it all comes down to it though there is only one person he needs. The characters are unique and the cinematography is wonderful. Go see this one. Got it on Blue Ray and it was still great!

11-23-08 --Ok, the first was good and this one was good too but just a little more corny than the first. I like the addition of the #2 elf. Overacted but funny. The Toy Santa was a good addition as well. This one makes you think. "can they still do another one without it flopping?" well there is a 3.

11-30-08 --Very good Christmas movie. I will say the child actress had a slow blink problem that bothered me every time she was in a scene but the story definately made up for everything. Good one to watch year after year.

11-29-08 --The third one seems to be 1 too many. You know, not having the usual "head Elf - Bernard" really made a difference. Especially since they used that Breslin kid that was in "2" but the thing is he went through a growth spurt and ELVES DO NOT GROW! Which made it seem like they just threw this one together. This movie is way more cornier than the previous two and I hope they don't continue to get cornier. Maybe it's time for Scott Calvin to pass on the Santa Clause Jacket to someone else.

11-30-08 --I enjoy a spoof movie as much as the next guy but when they don't put any effort into it that's when it makes it a bad experience for me. First: They spoofed a movie (Spider-Man) that has been out for what? 8 Years? What is that about? Everyone on the cover besides Leslie Nielsen, Drake & Tracy Morgan had 2 second parts in the movie. And it was all the Spider-Man movie. Piece by piece. It's like the took the Spider-Man Script and changed names and went with that. I was expecting a lot more superhero material from other movies... what was I thinking... oh yeah it's called "Superhero Movie" as where it should have been called "The First Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Movie Minus Tobey & Minus The red and Blue suit with 2 second appearances by ...oh who cares We Copied Everything".

12-07-08 --Mel Gibson is pretty good in this early ninetees flick. Definately stolen plot material from a certain red white & blue Marvel character we all know and love as Captain America. I think this one actually came out a year or two after they tried to make a CA movie. Anyway,decent movie to watch with your girl.

12-14-08 --If you can get past the really messed up animation style then this isn't a bad childrens christmas movie.

12-14-08 --This movie had me waiting the whole time I was watching it. For some reason I was hoping for some sort of "alien" twist or extraordinary phenomenon. Instead I get a psychic... That's their "weird-X-Filey" premise. It felt more like a long episode of "Cold Case" or maybe "CSI". It was good just wasn't what I expected.

12-13-08 --Christmas Classic. I can watch this movie every year and never get tired of it. Love it, Love it, Love it. It's almost a tradition to break it out after thanksgiving and watch it once or twice.

12-20-08 --Love stories around christmas time so I guess this makes it a christmas movie. One of the stories just doesn't fit and I'll let you find out which one that is. But in the essence of Crash this brings many stories of different people all together and it doesn't hurt that it's jampacked full of stars.

12-21-08 --The Jim Carrey Grinch was a bit "scary lookin'" but Maddie didn't seem to mind even though her eyes bugged out everytime she saw him. AND... although this character was Jim Carrey through and through it was a decent take on the Dr. Suess story. I just wish Mr. Carrey would have showed some acting skills by portraying the Grinch rather than Jim Carrey wearing a Grinch costume.

12-21-08 --Interesting, yet captivating. Milo needs more movies. He plays a game cause he's cocky. The game gets too deep. He loses everything or does he gain everything? You'll see.
