12	Blackout (2008, Unrated) This movie is about three interesting characters who get trapped in a elevator. Claudia is a student who wants to get back to her grandmother who is sick in hospital,Tommy is getting ready to leave the city with his girlfriend and Karl is a widowed doctor who wants to make his flat suitable for his daughter to visit. All of this sounds pretty boring but one of these characters is a serial killer and for the other two characters this situation quickly turns into a nightmare. I enjoyed this movie,it was different and the unusual camera work worked. One of the characters really repulsed me,they were vile. Oh and one more thing,i think from now on i will take the stairs. 15	Australia (2008, PG-13) Recommended by MissNightwatch. Wow i loved it. It was beautiful and stunning to watch. It made me feel very emotional,the bond between Drover,Sarah and Nullah was lovely to watch. The story was brilliant,the main characters were likeable and the baddies were very unlikeable,infact they were vile. I also loved all The Wizard of Oz touches. Easily one of the best movies i have seen so far this year.
16	Drag Me to Hell (2009, PG-13) Recommended by chozengirl1,creepfreak,TheFutureMrsNeeson and scottydgibbs. Drag Me To Hell is a great comedy/horror movie. Some great gross scenes and a fab ending. Alison Lohman step away from the kitten.

27	Wind Chill (2007, R) Emily Blunt stars as a miserable bitch and Ashton Holmes seemed far too old for the character he was playing. The storyline was quite weak,it was like a tale you would tell to 5 year old girl guides. Recommended by MsNightwatch but i had already seen it.

30	The Crew (2008, Unrated) Recommended by scottydgibbs. The Crew is about British gangsters in Liverpool. Sadly this movie was not as good as i was expecting it to be. The characters were vile,not one of them was likeable and the lead hardman character Ged comes across like a pansy. Stephen Grahams* character was interesting and i thought he would of made the movie a good one but his character entered the movie too late on and offered very little. The storyline was weak and i felt like some random scenes were just thrown in for the sake of violence,i think it wanted to shock the viewer but instead it came across as needy and desperate. The acting was so-so. The cast were a bunch of meatheads(*with exception to SG). Clearly just another British gangster flick,just about watchable but it is quite boring in parts.
31	The Secret of Moonacre (2008, Unrated) Recommended by Clemontine and DrLappos. The Secret of Moonacre was visually stunning and beautiful,the scenery was to die for! It was magical and gorgeous,one of the most amazing movies i have seen in a long time. The costumes were amazing,the house was my dream home and the characters were colourful and interesting. I loved the story and i loved how it ended....happily ever after. I want to live in Moonacre. Oh i loved the animals too....lets face it i loved it all,this was my kind of movie.

34	Transsiberian (2008, R) No thrills. No surprises. No terror. The story is slow and boring with dull characters,thats about all really. Recommended by scottydgibbs but i had already seen it.
35	100 Feet (2008, R) Recommended by scottydgibbs. Really want to see it because Ed Westwick is in it,swoon. Update - I was expecting 100 Feet to be rubbish and was only really watching it to perv on Ed Westwick but 100 Feet turned out to be one of the best ghost stories i have seen in ages. Whilst being beat up,again,by her husband Marnie Watson flips,grabs a knife and stabs him to death. After a period of time in prison Marnie is granted early release from but she must stay in her home fitted with an electronic security bracelet under house arrest for the next year. Marnies husband had been a cop so outside of Marnies house sits her husbands ex partner who is hoping to catch Marnie outside of the house so he can throw her back into prison. A year under house arrest wouldnt be so bad but Marnies ex-husband Mike is now a bitter evil and twisted ghost intent on making Marnies life hell and so the abuse begins again and unable to leave the house Marnie is trapped. The acting is good,the storyline is different from other ghost stories and theres quite a bit of gore but not too much. Theres a good atmosphere,i jumped out of my seat in one scene and instead of screaming just once i couldnt stop because it took me by surprise. 100 Feet is a really good horror ghost story,not to be missed.

Not really scary but i still liked it,it was interesting and the ending was left open for The Unborn 2. Well done to the two small children,they played creepy little freaks well. There were a few things i would of liked explaining for example how did Casey explain all the deaths to the police?

75	Marley & Me (2008, PG) I would like to see it but i avoided the book because someone told me it was sad and i hate sad dog movies because they make me cry so even though i would like to see it i probably wont. Update - i just noticed that Jennifer Aniston is in this movie and as much as i loved her in Friends i really can not stand her in anything else so i certainly will NOT be watching this movie. Recommended by DrLappos. Update Number 2 - Recently i am really enjoying all the movies i think look crappy and not liking the movies i am expecting to love. Well Marley and Me was a brilliant movie. It was very moving. I cried and cried and cried and cried and cried and then cried a bit more. Jennifer Aniston was good (for a change) but she was very Rachel like (no change here). It skips from very funny to very sad and back again so get your tissues ready!

91	Passengers (2008, PG-13) Recommended by DrLappos. Passengers is a good movie with a good cast,i love Dianne Wiest but i wasnt sure what i was watching.....was it supernatural or a drama or a thriller? When things started to become clear i cried.....quite a bit. It was very sad and lovely.
92	Hush (2009, Unrated) Recommended by DrLappos. Hush reminded me of quite a few other movies including Road Kill and more recently Shuttle. I thought it started a bit slow but i got into it more during the second half. Nice to see this kind of movie made in the UK for a change. Overall it was watchable,just dont expect much in terms of a storyline or originality.

96	Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009, R) Well i was hoping for a vampire version of Shaun Of The Dead but what i got was a short unfunny movie that was dull and boring. 87 minutes of nothingness. Plus was it my ears or was there something really wrong with the sound? It was really unbalanced. Not funny,not scary,not good. Recommended by DrLappos but it was a little too late because i had already had the displeasure of watching it.....bad times.

105	Franklyn (2008, R) Franklyn was visually stunning and full of mystery but sadly it was also uninteresting and disappointingly bland. It started off quite confusing (okay this might be my fault,i should of read the dvd cover) then it slips into not so confusing just boring so you sit there watching it thinking "ooo something really good is going to happen soon" and you wait and wait and then its the final scene and you are like "Oh....that....was....it....". I cant believe it was only on for 98 minutes,it felt more like 3 hours. The characters are also not very interesting and i didnt really like any of them. Recommended not to bother with by DrLappos,sadly i had already tortured myself by watching it the day before.

I liked - the first half i liked Zooey Deschanel,she carried the movie i liked Norm and his house parties I didnt like - the second half as much as the first half when Jim Carey started doing his Mask expressions. Overall i found it a little funny and one scene turned my stomach over....gross!

136	Joshua (Joshua: The Devil's Child) (2007, R) Recommended by JDFortuneFan. Totally NOT what i was expecting,i was expecting some crappy horror movie (mostly due to the title The Devils Child) but Joshua was an unusual artsy thriller. It was different from all the other evil kids movies,me and my daughter laughed at Joshua's evilness all the way through the movie but the final scene was chilling and worth the wait. He was one evil clever little ****er! Vera Farmiga must adore evil brats because after this she went on to film Orphan.
137	Mysterious Skin (2005, NC-17) I had no idea what this movie was about before i sat down to watch it. After the first few scenes i was like "what the hell have i recorded". I am not easily shocked but i found some of the scenes very hard to watch infact in one scene you kind of know whats coming and so i almost pressed fast forward. A really good movie but i didnt enjoy it,it was pretty depressing.
