Burn After Reading (2008,  R)
Burn After Reading
2
Seven Pounds (2008,  PG-13)
Seven Pounds
Will Smith owns. Sou apaixonada pelo mesmo. Independente do tipo de filme que ele faça ele sempre me emociona. E esse em especial..
3
The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008,  PG-13)
The Day the Earth Stood Still
It was better then I tought it would be. I never watched the original movie and I guess it would make more sense on the 50's when we talk about the whole plot but I guess it was the right time to make this a new movie with all the enviroment subject. It's a good entertainment even tough it has Keanu Reeves on it.
4
Foxfire (1996,  R)
Foxfire
Lesbian movies with all the cliches but still it's cute and is worth watching. Probably one of the cuttest lesbians movies ever even without any kiss or real contact.
5
Detroit Rock City (1999,  R)
Detroit Rock City
''I wanna rock'n'roll all night and party every day''.

Mrs. Bruce: Jeremiah what has gotten into you?
Jam: I JUST LOST MY VIRGINITY IN A CONFESSIONAL BOOTH! LORD HAVE MERCY! Now, for the last time, Mom, give me back my fucking drumsticks... please.

Must watch movie!
6
Ghost World (2001,  R)
7
Marie Antoinette (2006,  PG-13)
8
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008,  PG-13)
9
Friday the 13th (2009,  R)
Friday the 13th
I must say.. I was laughing so much during the whole movie, haha. It was fun and I don't think it sucked but is definitely no good comparing to the horror trashes of the 80's.
10
Bride Wars (2009,  PG)
Bride Wars
I liked the ending but is just as cliche as the rest.
11
Valkyrie (2008,  PG-13)
12
No Country for Old Men (2007,  R)
13
The Doors (1991,  R)
14
Volver (2006,  R)
15
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008,  PG-13)
16
The Virgin Suicides (2000,  R)
The Virgin Suicides
My favourite. Always been and always will.
17
Watchmen (2009,  R)
18
The Golden Compass (2007,  PG-13)
The Golden Compass
It had a lot of pieces missing and I didn't like the ending at all. I tought most of the characters didn't have many time on the screen as they should have and how it ended with a huge mistery that would be resolved in another movie.. Nah, Specially cause they won't be doing the second movie any time soon so we had an unfinished story for now. Not my thing but it was fun to watch.
19
Girl, Interrupted (1999,  R)
20
The Tracey Fragments (2007,  R)
The Tracey Fragments
Until the middle of the movie I just wanted to quit. I tought it was boring, and strange in a way I didn't even find interesting but after the first 30 minutes I had fun. It was good to watch and like a lot of critics said it was a big editing show up. The story is basic and they don't even explain much but is different and turned to be interesting and amusing to watch but definitely not one of my favourites.
21
Slumdog Millionaire (2008,  R)
Slumdog Millionaire
I really liked. The whole movie was very good and dinamic. It was a mix of emotions that in one hour I cried, laugh tons and still got angry. The movie turned out different then I expected since I read a bunch of reviews thar said something like a fairy tale or not that good but it was beyond my expectations and I loooved the dance scene in the ending. Plus, almoust all of the characters were good and made me like and care about them.
22
The Prestige (2006,  PG-13)
23
Milk (2008,  R)
Milk
It's amazing how a movie can touch people. Not only because this is a real story but everything behind it and we can all see ourselves now and feel what they been through in the 70's. Is a great movie about a great group of people who weren't scared of what they were. Is a Gus Van Sant's master piece.
24
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008,  PG)
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
When I tought about the movie I didn't want to watch it but I watched the first and I didn't say anything before doing it. After finishing and thinking about for a little it was clear for me that this movie was better than the first. Much more action, emotions.. it is a weak movie still and a big blockbuster but it does his job. I don't think I would watch it again tough. Is not my type of movie but it isn't bad, that's for sure.
25
He's Just Not That Into You (2009,  PG-13)
He's Just Not That Into You
Is a movie that you won't expect much besides the great cast in it. Based on a book, that I haven't read yet, it's a romantic comedy about tons of couples and how they get to know each other in their daily lives. Is touching, is not different but it's good for the soul. I liked and it is a girly movie from one of the bests and one that you can watch again and again.
26
Atonement (2007,  R)
27
Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008,  R)
Zack and Miri Make a Porno
I have to agree with one of my friends comments where they said is had been a while since they laughed in a comedy and I agree. It was really funny as any Kevin Smith's movie but this was way beyong plust Seth Rogen was amazing as always. Justin Long's character was hilarious. Loving comedy where you can watch it again and again. Need to buy the dvd, btw.
28
The Reader (2008,  R)
The Reader
I just watched and I still can't figure it out everything the movie wanted me to understand. It is a really sad, touching, beautiful, melancholic movie. Kate Winslet is amazing as Hanna and Ralph/David were just as good as David. It is a sad love story where a series of events never let this couple, that probably wouldn't work out, together for more than one summer. How time can make it a lot of things pass but some are impossible not to remember. One of the best movies I saw this year so far.
29
Fast and Furious (2009,  PG-13)
Fast and Furious
I'm a big fan of the first movie and I never liked the other two but knowing that the old cast was together again made worth watching it. It has chemestry, the actors and the cars and they always knew how to produce good action scenes. Is not as good as the first one but it made the whole series rise with this last volume.
30
The Spirit (2008,  PG-13)
The Spirit
It's a big joke but after the first hour it just gets boring. I already knew it was a bad movie so I had fun with that but is nothing like Sin City from Miller and Rodriguez and honestly is hard not to compare movies about the same theme and with visual effects so similar to the other. It can say it's almoust a copy but a bad, really bad one.
31
Shopgirl (2005,  R)
Shopgirl
As Ray Porter watches Mirabelle walk away he feels a loss. How is it possible, he thinks, to miss a woman whom he kept at a distance so that when she was gone he would not miss her. Only then does he realize that wanting part of her and not all of her had hurt them both and how he cannot justify his actions except that... well... it was life.

Is just heartbreaking and a beautiful story. The movie is touching, calm and so romantic. It is exactly how a girl would feel seeing someone play basically her.
32
But I'm A Cheerleader (2000,  R)
But I'm A Cheerleader
Megan: [to Graham] One, two, three, four, I won't take no anymore. 5,6,7,8 - I want you to be my mate. 1,2,3,4 - you're the one I adore. 5,6,7,8 - don't run from me cause this is fate.

It's a very touching, sweet, special movie to anyone in the lgbt world and we can relate to that but besides being a lesbian movie still is really beautiful. The couple has a chemestry and the ending is quite obvious but that doesn't make this any less special. Is a movie I could watch over and over again.
33
Dragonball Evolution (2009,  PG)
Dragonball Evolution
I was never a big fan but I always tought the movie would suck anyway. I'm a big fan of Justin Chatwin which made me watch this movie and get all disappointed. The storyline was so crunched, so resumed that it was hard to follow or understand the real reason behind their journey and it all sounded like a joke. The first 30 minutes to an obvious introduction and the last 57 to look and fight with the bad guy. Not worth it at all but this wasn't a surprise.
34
Charlie Bartlett (2007,  R)
Charlie Bartlett
It's a highschool movie different from the others. Is what we all wanted to be when we're on school and it's a pretty good movie but I do have a crush on school movies tough, haha.

Is fun to watch and you can always admires how amazing Robert Downey Jr is in any movie he makes, plus that just made me love Kat Denning even more.
35
Knowing (2009,  PG-13)
Knowing
Is been years I don't put any faith in a Nicolas Cage movie and this one wasn't different. I heard a lot of people saying how good it was and I even had some hope about it but during the movie all went away and honestly, I think it's great. A great movie, a great history with amazing special efects and is not that original I know that but is good, is really good. For me is not a Nicolas Cage movie but a Chandler Cantebury movie cause without this little kid it probably wouldn't be as good as it was. Nicolas continues acting without any expression but Chandler has such a chemestry with the actor, sympathy and is hard to not like him. Probably (until now) the only movie that surprised me this year.
36
Saw IV (2007,  R)
Saw IV
It's the same story in each movie. Besides the death scenes there is nothing original or interesting about it. They should stick with the first two and that's it.
37
The Haunting in Connecticut (2009,  PG-13)
The Haunting in Connecticut
Same history of horror movies in old houses with spirits in it. Nothing original or good about it.. Just like many many others.
38
The Silence of the Lambs (1991,  R)
The Silence of the Lambs
This is one of the movies I always wanted to see. From all the movies related to Hannibal Lecter it's the main one and the one I never watched. It's an interesting story about a serial killer, I mean, two and their behavior and the whole journey of a FBI student trying to catch him.
It wasn't the movie I was expecting to watch. I must say I imagined that it was totally different but I couldn't help loving it. It's a great movie, with great actores and full of good scenes that makes you not stop watching for anything, plus has a smart scrit that gives you little details and clues of what's happening. It needs to be watched again and again.
39
Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009,  PG)
Confessions of a Shopaholic
Being a fan of the books and Isla Fisher I really wanted to watch it when I saw they were making the movie. The book is the first of a series that talk about Rebeca Bloom a shopaholic that has problems with every part of her life except for the shopping. In the movie, and first book, she gets a new job on a finances magazines, that for a shopaholic is really ironic, and the fact of being in love for her boss and screw her friendship with her best friend.

I always knew they would make it prettier than good on the screen but I actually liked. It had a lot of bad things.. I mean, how Joan Cusack could be Isla Fisher's mom? They have almoust the same age! Isla actually was what saved the movie. Probably another actress wouldn't be as funny, sweet and charming as she would in this romantic comedy but they could try harder next time. I just hope this makes people read the book and realize what a great story it is.
40
X-Men Origins - Wolverine (2009,  PG-13)
X-Men Origins - Wolverine
Being a big Marvel's fan it's impossible for me not to watch a super hero movie especially when it's part of the x-men history. After Batman, X-Men is probably the smartest super hero movie I've seen and Wolverine is the main character. With a huge cast and a huge history is definitely another part from the story. The plot is about Logan's life and how he handles his 'powers' and how he gets them from his childhood until being an adult.

It has nothing to do with X-Men plot/history besides some small facts and details during the movie but the action scenes are breath taking, and I can picture each of them on the video game plus it's a definitely interesting story. They did and excellent job and I can't wait for the other characters bio to come.
41
Nights in Rodanthe (2008,  PG-13)
Nights in Rodanthe
The only reason why I watched this movie was Nicholas Sparks. His books are always so touching and the movies aren't bad either. It's a romantic story about a doctor that has his ego bigger than anything else and a lonely divorced woman that lives for his children. When she takes care of her friend's inn for a weekend with the only guest they start to get envolved and fall in love. It's a really sweet movie and very romantic.

It's a pure love and a romantic dream that I think everybody would love to be in their places and feel what they are feeling. You can related to what they say and do once you've been in love too. For a calm weekend it was the best surprise I could had. :)
42
Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek
For me that I never saw any movies or episodes of the tv shows and the only thing I knew about Star Trek was the story and some actors that were part of it, was amazing. It's more than 2 hours of tons of information and yes, the only problem is that for newbies like me it gets confusing and tiring sometimes but the action scenes and the whole dialogues are epic.

I wish I could explain the plot but sometimes I get lost. Basically, it's about how it all started with James Kirki and Spock and how their partnership will become a difference in the world. It's a movie that makes you so interested to even imagine other stories. It's a world full of possibilities makes you understand why has 11 movies about it. Honestly, I couldn't be happier to finally get to know the franchise and to watch not only the other 10 movies soon but the tv show as well. Great job from J.J. He never let us down.
43
Dan in Real Life (2007,  PG-13)
Dan in Real Life
Different from what I expecting I had a good surprise with the movie. It's no different from the general itself but is touching, romantic and sweet. Is one of the movies I wanna watch again and again cause you will always connect with at least one of the characters are going through. The story about a father of 3 daughters that meet his brother's girlfriend and fall in love in a family reunion is really unoriginal but the family, cast, itself changes the whole movie. It's all about the actors that made this family worth watching.
44
Gran Torino (2009,  R)
Gran Torino
One of the few directors that makes me wanna watch all of his movies. This in particular is very special and probably one of my favourites, if not the favourite that he directed. It tells a history about a war vet called Walt Kowalski that after an event starts to get closer to his neighbor a young Hmong, Thao.
Clint is amazing as always and touching as usual. The character needs a tough man, brave and most of the times rude but he shows all of that and still the soft side that every human being has with some people. He's a lonely man that never got over all of the facts from the past. The relationship with Thao is really simple and with likely father and son moments that are funny and real. They make each other a better person and with everything that happens in the movie, the problems, the people they have to deal with. It's really impressive. I couldn't recommend a better movie and honestly, it looks much better than I tought it was.
45
The Bridges of Madison County (1995,  PG-13)
The Bridges of Madison County
I knew it was a classic and I knew I was probably going to like it but I never tought that I would be so touched and familiar with the story. I could say a lot of things about this love story but honestly, if you are reading this and haven't watched yet. Do it. Do it cause it will probably change something inside of you.
46
Speed Racer (2008,  PG)
47
New In Town (2009,  PG)
New In Town
It's been a while since Renée lost her charm and when I started watching this movie the only I wanted to go is to go back and pick another one. It's the cliche story about a city girl who goes to a small town to work and hates it but start having amazing friends and an awesome boyfriend and fall in love for the place and decides to help the community. For a romantic comedy nobody has any charm, and the only person that actually seems to grow on you it's Siobhan Fallon character.
48
Sex and the City (2008,  R)
Sex and the City
It was like watching a big episode and wasn't tiring at all. I was blow away with the whole film and how beautiful it was and it was a very good ending for a classic tv series. They never get tiring.
49
Wristcutters - A Love Story (2007,  R)
Wristcutters - A Love Story
The movie it's about there three people meet and become friends and start a journey where each one of them have something they wanna look for and they learn more that they could ever imagine. It would be a very comun story if they weren't suicidals in a place only for people who commited suicide. It's not dramatic at all and actually it's a very positive story where you always can have a second chance. It's a movie I've wanted to see in a very long time because I tought it was really original and yes, I wasn't wrong plus the movie is really well done and the cast is great. I can put this movie in a category where you watch it, feel their pain, start loving the characters and when it's ends you have a big smile on your face.
50
Rachel Getting Married (2008,  R)
Rachel Getting Married
I don't think I ever watched such personal movie like this one. I felt part of the family and it was definitely a good/bad experience like any family is. Amazing movie, amazing cast. It was a good surprise considering I wasn't interested at all in the beggining.
51
WALL-E (2008,  G)
WALL-E
Pixar never made a bad movie and this is one of their best if not the best. Wall-E is amazing. I don't have a lot of words to describe it but everyone should watch it and this is a reason why animations these days have more public than the usual movies. They are just so.. simple and unique and impossible to forget.
52
The Wrestler (2008,  R)
The Wrestler
Not my favourite type of movie and by far not my favourite actor but Mickey Rourke was amazing in the movie. Not only because it tells his story but because he's finally back into real acting. He directed Darren Aronofsky tell a story about Randy ''The Ram'' Robinson and he trying to get back in his tracks wrestling and resolving all his problem with his own ghosts, his daughter, his girlfriend and everything he may go through. Amazing movie, really unique and with some great wresteling scenes that you have to close your eyes to not get sick.. but you can't. Can't not love it and forget it.
53
The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009,  PG-13)
The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Typical movie about a playboy that likes and have all the women in his feet and than realizes he loves his childhood friend and tries to change. It wasn't a movie I was looking foward to but Jennifer Garner is worth the hour lost.. and I even could laugh a little bit, even with all the cliches, because of Emma Stone that is for me one of the best comedians actress out there these days.
54
Once (2007,  R)
Once
Very simple, unique and delicated. The soundtrack is really good too and the plot is really good. Knowing the two actors are real musicians in real life and this is their first and only movie makes it all more intimate.
55
Laws of Attraction (2004,  PG-13)
Laws of Attraction
Simple, cliche, cute. Just a usual romantic comedy. It was fun to watch it.
56
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008,  R)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I'm fan of Judd Apatow and all the things he writes/directs/produces so yeah, this is definitely a good movie. An awesome comedy that made me laugh loud and with hilarious scenes and still it's a very cute movie. Kristen Bell, Jason Segel and Mila Kunis but for me Russel Brand was the star. I never tought he could act or be that funny! For now this is the best comedy movie I've seen this year.
57
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror) (2007,  R)
Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)
The B-zombie-80's movies would be proud.
58
17 Again (2009,  PG-13)
17 Again
Better and funnier that I tought it would be. It's predictable but I had some laughs.
59
Doubt (2008,  PG-13)
Doubt
Interesting movie. It's really dramatic and like someone said the acting are amazing. A very well made film with a very peculiar plot. Beautiful to watch and still makes you wondering after you finish. Amy, Philip and Meryl are just.. breath taking.
60
Penelope (2006,  PG)
Penelope
An interesting surprise. Much better than I expected.
61
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009,  PG)
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Probably the most non-action movie from all 6 but it's definitely worth the whole story. It can be more teenager than the rest and focus on their relationships with each other different from the last ones where they only focus on the battle agains Voldemort. This chapter of the story it's the beginning of the end and a very beautiful one.
62
The Proposal (2009,  PG-13)
The Proposal
Cute, funny, simple. It made me laugh and I wasn't expecting much. I had fun.
63
Duplicity (2009,  PG-13)
Duplicity
The end was interesting but for me it was just like any movie I ever watched with the same theme. The only thing that makes it better besides some direction parts are the actors that made an amazing job. I was expecting more tough.
64
Smart People (2008,  R)
Smart People
Interesting, funny, and with good performances but for me still have nothing special about it. They all made much more interesting movies.
65
Journey to the Center of the Earth (Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D) (2008,  PG)
Journey to the Center of the Earth (Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D)
Considering I wasn't expecting nothing from the movie and it's just for showing the 3 effects it was fun. Nothing exceptional tough.
66
Beautiful Girls (1996,  R)
Beautiful Girls
Trying to think about what I could say about this movie I think the closest thing I tought was basically the same thing as ''welcomehomeroxy'' said: One of those movies you don't remember much - but two or three scenes you can't forget''.
67
Coraline (2009,  PG)
Coraline
Very sweet, very funny and very well made. Neil Gaiman has the best stories and is definitely not a childrens only movie.
68
Public Enemies (2009,  R)
Public Enemies
The plot of the movie for me it was really interesting but I already knew what was coming. I basically watched because of the cast but I know what I should expect of Michael Mann as a director and his digital camera and running around and making everyone dizzy with action scenes that sometimes I don't eve know what's happening. The movie was okay, it was fun to watch and the best moments were the romantic or action scenes. It wasn't the best job of any actor and I can say the same about the director.
69
Halloween (2007,  R)
Halloween
Being a 80's horror classic remake for today's best horror director I wouldn't expect less.
70
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007,  R)
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Hard to talk about this movie but is a must watch. Very interesting and with amazing performances. I was expecting less but wow, very good. I'm still shocked.
71
RocknRolla (2008,  R)
RocknRolla
''Now, I wanna be a real Rocknrolla''. Fo-da.
72
A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006,  R)
A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints
Breathtaking.
73
Fanboys (2008,  PG-13)
Fanboys
I was expecting a lot from this movie because the plot is so unique and I love the actors. I tought it was so funny, so sarcastic and with some genius takes from nerds that only the ones that actually understand laugh. It's not a movie for a very big public but it's worth watching. I tought it was exactly what I was expecting and I wasn't disappointed like most of people was. One of my personal favourites.
74
Lars and the Real Girl (2007,  PG-13)
Lars and the Real Girl
It's a very pretty movie that I wanted to watch is been a very long time but I'm still trying to figure it out because the whole 'fall-in-love-for-a-doll' and people actually agree about this and the whole community change because someone sickness is really unreal for me. It's beautiful tough but I'm still trying to figure it out if I like it or not.
75
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (2009,  PG-13)
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
Considering I knew it would be a bad movie I actually liked. It's trashy but has great action scenes. Most of the plot is predictable and I didn't mind. It's fun and does your job as a blockbuster summer movie.
76
Pride and Prejudice (2005,  PG)
Pride and Prejudice
Mr. Darcy: Miss Elizabeth. I have struggled in vain and I can bear it no longer. These past months have been a torment. I came to Rosings with the single object of seeing you... I had to see you. I have fought against my better judgment, my family's expectations, the inferiority of your birth by rank and circumstance. All these things I am willing to put aside and ask you to end my agony.
Elizabeth Bennet: I don't understand.
Mr. Darcy: I love you.

Amazing.
77
The Witches of Eastwick (1987,  R)
The Witches of Eastwick
Different, very funny. Watchin only this year such an old movie with great actors is interesting. Jack Nicholson as the Devil is priceless and have another amazing performance. Susan, Michelle and even Cher are amazing as the witches and well, even 20 years later the jokes are still funy.
78
Disney's Aladdin (1992,  G)
Disney's Aladdin
Classic. One of my favourites Disney movies.
79
When Harry Met Sally (1989,  R)
When Harry Met Sally
Classic, beautiful and with tons of good quotes. Better than I expected. :)
80
Adventureland (2009,  R)
Adventureland
Nothing new but it's definitely one of those so-called ''indie'' movies right now. Great performances and actually Kristin Steward shows she can act different from the ''Twilight'' series, Ryan Raynolds in another not so big appearance that is worth the movie. All the other actors in some well know and they can definitely pull it off. The movie has a very sweet story, something you can relate to, and it's always fun to look back in the 80's.
81
Where the Heart Is (2000,  PG-13)
Where the Heart Is
Simple, beautiful and very touching. The first reason why I watched this movie was Natalie Portman. She looks amazing there and not only her but everyone. It has a very beautiful story and very realistic too. Much more than you can hope for the plot of the movie, this was definitely a good discover. A movie I wanna watch it again and again & in fact it touches your heart.
82
Gigantic (2009,  R)
Gigantic
Different from I was expecting is a very strange movie. Sweet, very minimal and with good dialogues. Most of performances are kinda.. slow, but it was quite charming. A very nice surprise.
83
Sunshine Cleaning (2009,  R)
Sunshine Cleaning
Not a comedy but a drama that is very beautiful. Two sisters that don't have anything in comun but they need to stick together for something bigger. It's a very cute movie. Funny, well made, a very delicious plost.. just a good one and a very nice surprise.
84
Up (2009,  PG)
Up
So beautiful, funny, touching and I must say.. Pixar never lets me down. :)
85
Revolutionary Road (2008,  R)
Revolutionary Road
With good dialogues, quotes and an amazing chemestry this movie is definitely a piece of work. Being first just an avarage movie it's a story that you can relate, a story that is just so simple and once you start watching you thinkg 'I know someone like them/I am her'. It's easy to relate to, it's easy to enjoy and the performances were just mind blowing.
86
I Love You, Man (2009,  R)
I Love You, Man
I know I shouldn't say my opinion because I am a big fan of the whole Judd Appattow crew and every comedian that is part of it. It's impossibl not to laugh. It's just hilarious and silly at the same time but I must say the part I did laugh loud was the couple that Jaime Pressly and Jon Favreau were.
87
Labyrinth (1986,  PG)
Labyrinth
Old and I always wanted to watch. Interesting definitely, unsual but not what I was expecting. I tought it was quite boring actually and it may be a movie for teens but not their best work, for sure.

Heat (1995,  R)
Heat
A master piece. Amazing and so well made. A semi-classic I only saw because of Natalie Portman but I couldn't be more in love for the movie. The best action movie I ever saw.

Changeling (2008,  R)
Changeling
Clint Eastwood never let me down and with this movie I only am more sure how amazing he is as a director. Amazing, very sad, very touching, very heartbreaking. I couldn't not feel for her.

My Sister's Keeper (2009,  PG-13)
My Sister's Keeper
Saddest movie of the year. It does it's job. I couldn't stop crying.

Quarantine

Inglourious Basterds (2009,  R)
Inglourious Basterds
It's a Tarantino movie. That explains it all. Doesn't it?

Twilight (2008,  PG-13)
Twilight
People say it's a teenager movie/book. It doesn't matter. I liked it. I like the second book and I also wanna see the second movie. I think the media on it it's kinda overrated but it was a very nice surprise even tough it had a lot of flaws.

District 9 (2009,  R)
District 9

The Shawshank Redemption (1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
I nevr tought a movie with such cliche description could be so good. It's so soft, with a great story and a very good script. Some things are obvious but the way it comes out at is what makes it all different. That tons of good actors obsviouly helps, I must admit and it probably wouldn't be the same without them but anyway, a very nice choise. I recommend.

Chaplin (1992,  PG-13)
Chaplin
Beautiful. Robert Downey Jr makes an wonderful performance. I saw Chaplin like I never tought I would see it before. So personal.

Antichrist (2009,  Unrated)
Antichrist
Um filme cenas difíceis de esquecer que até agora não sei bem como me sinto em relação a ele. É agoniante, tenso e com cenas e diálogos muito fortes.

I Love You Beth Cooper (2009,  PG-13)
I Love You Beth Cooper
A única coisa que me atraiu a assistir esse filme foi meu amor de teenager pela Hayden, mas passar uma hora e meia em um avião e pelo menos não pagar pelo filme foi o que aliviou. Senti vergonha alheia durante todo o filme.

(500) Days of Summer (2009,  PG-13)
(500) Days of Summer
Many people were saying it was a romantic comedy but I already went to watch thinking it was a drama movie. I was right. There is nothing funny about it. Is real, direct and it hurts because you once were one of the two characters or both of them. It makes you feel nostalgic and is really easy to relate with them. The movie you watch to cry yourself out, to make you feel even worse, is one of those movies you will quote from time to time or just remember once you're feeling blue.

Jennifer's Body (2009,  R)
Jennifer's Body
From the beginning the new scrip of Diablo Cody was based on the trash b movies and it was supposed to be stupid, and it did worked. The beginning till the end the movie is just full of cliches, sometimes so ridiculous you can't even believe that is happening but with some good quotes. I liked because I wasn't expecting nothing besides this. Actually it made me laugh a lot. My main reason to watch was Amanda's character that is actually very sweet. At least Amanda can act. You know those movies you watch tons and tons of times because it just makes you kill time, sucks but you actually enjoy it?

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009,  PG-13)
The Twilight Saga: New Moon
For those who are fans or for those who aren't everyone has the same tought about this story: boring. The movie couldn't be different. WIth the book sucking it was hard for the movie be anything better. In terms of direction it was definitely superior. A lot of flaws from the first movie were corrected on this one and the soundtrack it was amazing. I don't know how they got so many amazing artists. Anyway, the movie is basically Jacob without shirt, Bella sad and no Edward. Not only the fans but those who watched only for curiosity left disappointed and I'm sure on this group.
