X-Men: The Last Stand (2006,  PG-13)
X-Men: The Last Stand
I enjoyed this film, yet I was pissed by it too. The first two were good X-Men films and part 2 especially set up many great possibilities for this film. This film dropped the ball when it comes to all my great expectations for it. Whoever decided that 3 films were enough to tell the X-Men story and then end things is a moron. Whoever decided to kill off key characters is also a moron. Oh and whoever decided to have a cliffhanger in the end credits in the last film is a moron as well.

Why have a cliffhanger if they aren't going to explain what's going to happen next to Professor X ? Wolverine was alright, but I don't care about prequels, they need to figure out how to bring Cyclops, and Jean back in a 4th movie. I don't care about the rumored Teenie Bopper X-Men movie either, that's even worse than the Magneto movie idea.

Anyway X-3 is fun and the cure plot isn't that bad. It's the careless decision to kill off key characters just to introduce no name mutants in leather that bugged me. As well as even trying to make the 3rd film the last one. The movies were popular and made money so to me there was no point in rushing things and even attempting to make it the last one.

Shrek the Third (Shrek 3) (2007,  PG)
Shrek the Third (Shrek 3)
Justin Timberlake is painfully unfunny. While the movie is too short and not as clever as the first 2.

It's sad that the recent Christmas special Shrek the Halls has more of the formula of what made the first two films good.

The additions of Athur and Merlin are no where near as clever and original as Donkey or Puss n' Boots. When Justin Timberlake tries to be funny as Arthur it's just lame and painful.

It also would've been nice to see a new original villain as well. So the 4th needs no Athur, a new villain and yes a new funny sidekick!

Superman III (1983,  PG)

Batman Forever (1995,  PG-13)
Batman Forever
It's overly whacky with some really bad lines for Batman and the villians. Yet Batman & Robin still makes it look like The Godfather. Plus at least as Bruce Wayne Val Kilmer gets to act and show signs of a man haunted by his past. His lines to Dr. Chase as Batman though are just awful.

But there's still some fun here and Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey try hard as Two face and the Riddler. They have the right looks for the parts but if only they didn't act like they were in the 60's tv series.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006,  PG-13)

Poltergeist III (1988,  PG-13)
Poltergeist III
I feel bad that it was the little girl's last movie but it's awful. It acts as if her parents who loved her dearly in the last 2 couldn't handle evil spirits being after her. So they dumped her off to relatives. This one is just awful, did I say it was awful ?

Alien 3 (1992,  R)

Beverly Hills Cop III (1994,  R)
Beverly Hills Cop III
Using my memory of when I saw it as a teenager, I gave it 1 1/2. However, I just seen it on cable recently. It is the worst one with bad direction but it is kinda funny.

The funniest thing about it is how unrealistic it is. I mean Judge Reinhold is shot with a machine gun, yet he only has a sling on his arm in the end. Still, the script should've stayed in the garbage where they most likely found it.

Scream 3 (2000,  R)
Scream 3
I was a huge Scream fan back in the day. I always thought about what young actor could be in a Scream sequel. Scream 3 dropped the ball with the casting though. Parker Posey was good and Patrick Dempsey was just ok. All the other new cast members were pretty awful though.

It's also pretty unbelievable that the killer has a voice machine that can make him sound like anyone. While, the first 2 made fun of bad horror flicks, this one feels like a movie they'd make fun of.

Still, Neve Campbell, Courtney Coxx and David Arquette "in his best role" are at least good. Some of the chase scenes are fun as well.

Spy Kids 3-D - Game Over (2003,  PG)
Spy Kids 3-D - Game Over
I think this one isn't as bad as critics said. The 3-D isn't that great though. Your better off seeing one of those 3-D shows at one of the theme parks in Orlando.

Spider-Man 3 (2007,  PG-13)
Spider-Man 3
If I watch part 1 and 2 followed by this film, it makes even more disappointed in part 3. The more I watch it, the more I don't like it. It has too many flaws and the plot leads to no where. I mean Peter wants to ask Mary-Jane to marry him but she's too busy finding reasons to be mad at him for that part of the plot to go any where. Even Gwen Stacey (Bryce Dallas Howard) was introduced only so Mary-Jane would have another excuse to rip Peter a new one. When I used to watch the 90's cartoon series, Mary-Jane was always upbeat, here she's always angry and depressed.

While James Cromwell has one of the worse lines ever as Captain Stacey. His daughter is dangling from a building and close to falling and he just calmly says "Gwen, what is she doing up there ?." We also didn't need the Sandman to be the real person that killed Uncle Ben. Venom is a much better villain and he has only a few minutes of screen time. Sandman robbing to save money to cure his sick daughter goes nowhere.

Critics complained that Topher Grace isn't menacing enough in the role of Venom. But I think he's the best out of the 3 villains even if he had less to do. Eddie Brock was supposed to be big and muscular. I don't think that would have worked though. When I took photography, I never had a big muscular guy in class lol. So I think it worked with Topher Grace in the role. Hell, I think the casting of Topher is the only thing that worked.

I can mention a lot more problems with the film. Harry Osborne losing his short term memory and forgetting that he was mad at Peter and why was really weak writing. You also have Mary-Jane getting taken by the villains 3 movies in a row! Come on, can't they be more original than that. The worse thing about the movie is when Peter has on the black venom stuff. His dark side isn't scary or cool, he's just more nerdy actually. He struts around like he's John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever and dances all over a 50's restaurant like he's the Mask. They should have just brought back the writers of part 2.

Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines (2003,  R)
Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines
Terminator 3 is basically just like the 2nd film. 2 terminators come from the future. One to kill John Connor and the other to protect him. Arnold once again plays the one sent to protect him. While Kristanna Loken plays the sexy female bad one.

The movie probably has the fastest pace of any of them. While there's some good action as well. I also liked Nick Stahl as John Connor and Claire Danes as his wife in the future.

However Loken isn't as good as the villain as Arnold or Robert Patrick were in the last 2. But the T-X she plays is still a worthy opponent for Arnold. While some might find the ending to be a let down and even a little depressing. It does at least lead up to the next film.
